5.0 out of 5 stars Good Price - Good Product
My coffee does not taste the same, Coconut sugar tastes much better. BUT... using allulose in my coffee (it's doable) instead of sugar being the only true change in my diet, in the last 4 weeks, I've lost 8 pounds, and my head is clearer in the morning (no brain fog).
5.0 out of 5 stars It's Allulose
The price is good, it's allulose as far as I can tell without lab testing. No, it's not a real sugar substitute, you would have to use an ungodly amount to even come close and then it still doesn't taste like sugar. No, it won't sweeten your coffee or tea, but it is great for keto recipes, I use it for keto Ninja Creami ice cream and am happy with the level of sweetness in that use case.
4.0 out of 5 stars Not as sweet as sugar
Likes: No after taste, NO funny feelings after use. More like a powder sugar texture. Not sweet as sugar, gives my coffee balance.Be careful not to shovel, very easy to add a lot to get a sweet taste.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great sugar substitute
Very pricey, but this product is the closest to a true sugar taste with no after taste that I’ve ever tasted.
5.0 out of 5 stars Allulose powder
The taste, or should I say, lack of taste is great! I have been using stevia, but it does have an after taste. There will be a gradual conversation to allulose.
3.0 out of 5 stars Poor packaging Design, IMHO About This Sweetner
In regards to this specific product: texture is fine, but the packaging is not particularly done well. It is very difficult to get the package to seal and stay closed. Redesign needed, IMO.This is my first try with allulose as a sweetener. If you take a taste of it off a spoon, it is pretty nice and sweet. Add it to coffee and tea? I don't know how much you are supposed to add, but it seemed like there was no reasonable amount I could have added that I would even detect as sweetening the beverage even a little. Five measured teaspoons in a cup of hot coffee or tea and there is a complete lack of sweetness. So, in my book, that's a major fail of the sweetener. I might try baking with it to see what happens, but I don't have any hopes that it will come through.
5.0 out of 5 stars Favorite, go-to sweetener in my house!
Reliable quality, checks all the low carb boxes & is the go-to sweetener in my house! About 70% as sweet as cane sugar, this non-glycemic sweetener will soothe your sweet tooth while helping you towards your health goals. I use it for ice cream making & baking (with alternative flours like, Coconut, Almond & lupin.)No complaints from family or friends, who can't tell the difference! Acts & bakes much like cane sugar in recipes. A little pricier than other sweetener blends, but worth it!
3.0 out of 5 stars It does sweeten
If I use more than a few teaspoons in a day I get diarrhea. I lost part of the first bag I ordered. Bought a second to be sure. Same result.
