The first wax I tried when I started my business and the only one I use now! I have been using the American Soy Organics Freedom Soy Wax Beads for my candle business, and it has been my favorite wax to use. The beads melt evenly and smoothly, making the candle-making process a breeze. The wax's consistency is perfect for achieving a clean, even burn, which is crucial for the quality of my candles.The fact that it's a 100% soy product is a major plus – it burns cleaner and is more environmentally friendly compared to traditional waxes. This feature has been a hit with my customers who are looking for clean, eco-friendly options.Keep in mind that soy wax frosts, which is not a flaw. This just shows it is 100% soy wax. It is not visible without dye but can be visible with dye.This wax holds fragrances well. Always check your fragrances and wax for their proper temperature. Great wax. I am new to candle making and I decided to purchase this wax for it's all-natural elements and for the fact it is farmed in America- great marketing for my brand.I had to run several test candles before I got the right fragrance and wick combination.First test candle: 8 oz candle in a 3 inch diameter glass jar with an ECO-14 wick (trimmed 1/4"), 8% fragrance, heated to 160 degrees and poured at 160 degrees, stirred fragrance for at least 1 minute,12 days cure time. The fragrance was a little light and the melt pool only reached 98% of the jar. No frosting, very minimal crystallization and wax mostly adhered to glass jar- non-adherence really wasn't that noticeable and crystallization really wasn't that noticeable either.Second test candle: everything the same except used an ECO-16 wick, 10% fragrance, heated to 185 degrees and poured at 160 degrees. Heated glass jar before pouring and stirred fragrance for 2 minutes. Wax adhered to the glass better, the hot throw was stronger and melt pool reached 100%. I had realized I was test burning the candle in a room that was much to large. An 8 oz candle is usually ideal for a 10 ft x 10 ft room. I was test burning in a room 3 times the size. When I put the candle in a 10 ft x 10 ft room with the door open the hot throw was very strong. Almost too strong.Overall, I am happy so far with this wax. I ordered 10 more pounds. Given the nature of pure / nearly pure soy wax, I'm guessing I might have to always use the max fragrance load of 10%, but I would have to do more testing. I have made a few more candles in three other scents (allowed 14 days cure time) and I am mostly happy with two out of three of the hot throws but I think I will try heating the wax to 185 degrees to see if I can get stronger throws, especially for that third fragrance. I am not opposed to mixing paraffin into my soy but so far I do not feel it's necessary, perhaps if I am dyeing the wax I might add paraffin to reduce the crystallization.If you are thinking of purchasing I definitely think this is a good wax to try out. Just make sure you do your research on candle making in general, especially for soy wax (any soy wax).

This is my third time purchasing this brand and my second type of wax and I am in love once again. The wax made my wax melts and tea lights turn out beautifully! I am a fan of the wax beads as I feel they melt easier than the flakes or blocks of wax. Its very easy to work with and holds scent very well. Overall, I am a fan and will continue to use!

Big ol’ bag o’ wax for a big ol’ candle makin’ time! Yes haw!!Got this 10 pounder today after a quick delivery-less than a day from phone to door. Bought some awesome little tins and I have a great “volcano” dupe scent like Anthropologie. I used my little kit, did the math out, measured out my wax and boom! I made 10 small candles that are totally bad ass in about 20 minutes.This wax melted easily, it was quick and smooth and didn’t have much of a scent out of the bag so it made a great base to add scent oil to. It pours smooth and then once it is set it makes the most gorgeous and smooth surface for professional looking candles. The scent oil blended in with it fantastically and I couldn’t be happier with the end result-next time I’ll add 1% to my wax instead of 0.5% to make them a little stronger, but that didn’t have anything to do with the wax itself, just the amount of scented oil I added to the melted soy I was making the candles with.I have used other wax flakes that have really set poorly and been anything but smooth once they cool, but this wax is wonderful and performed just as advertised.I will most definitely come to this seller again for the same product the next time I need to order bulk soy wax to make some money saver candles or for gifts to give family and friends. I was not disappointed and would be stoked to give these candles out to people I love because they look so perfect!I did not add any die blocks or liquid coloring to this soy yet, I will most likely do that on some of my larger candles, but for this batch I kept it simple and just kept them the off white color the wax came in. I do believe that this would be a great medium for any type of dye you want to add to the wax and don’t think anyone wanting to make colored wax candles would have any issue at all with adding coloring to it nicely. If I try it I’ll update my review though!!In summary this wax was awesome and I will definitely purchase again and suggest anyone purchase it as well if you’re hopping on a candle making train like I have been as of late! It will not disappoint!

Soy blend
Seems to be a soy blend with natural oils. Sets well in silicon molds and burns well. Manufacturer was nice when contracted and got back to me, although unable to share which oils were in blend as proprietary. I'm mixing with a little paraffin as I need a slightly hotter oil for my use. Would buy again. Good product, friendly contact, arrived in good time and packaged well from overseas and seems very respectable.

A la primera ocasión que la usó y me gustó resultado !Para velas de vasos aromáticas !El precedo de derretido fue por olla hasta temperatura 72C lo que tengo duda en qué temperatura me sugieren agregar esencia !Realiza otro pedido de cera !!! Solo que el día que llegaría me notifican que habia un atraso para la entrega!Fecha nueva para entrega el día 9 de mayo !!Me gustaría saber el tiempo para quedado de vela para uso !!Hice pruebas para saber el quemado de los pabilos pero aún el aroma no está concentrado porque se que debe tener su tiempo de concentración de aromaOjalá me ayuden a saber la temperatura para agregar esencia y para tiempo de concentración de la esencia para el uso de velaEn general me gustó el producto !Lo recomiendo !!
First time candle maker !
Made my first set of candles ever ! Using this Wax.I obviously can’t rate it relatively to others, but I am so happy with the results.Did a couple of jar fills, some more intricate moulds, tea lights and a cylinder.I can’t fault it.
