I make a pear upside-down cake and cannot stress enough the use of non-syrupy fruit! These taste very fresh and work perfectly. I use the juice instead of water in the cake to marry the ingredients!

These pear halves were not a uniform size, but that was the only shortcoming. The flavor was just like the name brand, but the price was even lower than the store brand at the supermarket chain. I will definitely keep some of these in my pantry going forward.

I was lured in by the Great price of $1.59 on 9/17/22, and a week later they had jumped in price to the cost of Delmonte. I just don't understand an increase of 30% in one shot. And who in their right mind will buy the off brand when you can have the Top Shelf product like Delmonte? Let's see, the fruit was good the juice wasn't sweet enough. If you're using juice concentrate, why not go a little sweet? The fruit wasn't mushy and in fact I got a couple pieces I had to cut with a knife to eat cause they were too firm out of the can. I was pleased that there was No Added Sugar and they tasted like pears and I liked them AT A DOLLAR FIFTY-NINE. NOT $2.09! Have a nice day😊

I bought these because I couldn't find any without the syrup. I wanted then to show my son an old snack. Pear halves, mayo, and a sprinkle of shredded cheese. These were perfect, as they are canned in water. Texture was great. Didn't taste like can and were soft. BTW, if you e never tried that snack, do it!

The first can I purchased was good. The pears had a consistent texture, and a good flavor.The last couple of cans I opened were inconsistent in quality. Some of the pears had the expected texture and softness while others were hard and "crunchy". I also noticed several stems and seeds. I will think twice before purchasing any more.

Should be cheaper. But for a budget and wanting to get it fast, it’s pretty good. My kids loved them!! They thought they were tasty and just like fresh pairs. The can was also in perfect condition.
