I had to open it right away! Couldn't save it for Christmas! I first heard about these on Father Brown and had to order some! They are delicious. I thought I had also ordered Rhubarb & Custard but, alas, I did not. That will have to be another order! I am sure they will be as good as the Sherbet Lemon and Pear Drops!!!

I bought this thinking it was gummy candy, and nearly broke my tooth biting into the first one. But after I realized I did not break a tooth they tasted okay. Not so much pear, but very prominently banana flavored. They’re good if you want a fruity hard candy, but I won’t be repurchasing.

For me, as soon as I pop it into my mouth, I immediately get a memory of canned peaches in syrup, which is okay. Later the flavor gets a little muddled, but still pleasant. I like to have hard candy around because it's a quick sugar fix that doesn't get gobbled down quickly by the family as say chocolates would - good alternative to cough drops, etc. if you have issues with dry mouth, as I do. It doesn't leave that weird over-sugary aftertaste coating that some peppermints & other hard candies do either. Overall, I would recommend.

The pear drops arrived as a melted mess in the bag. It wasn’t even a warm day, so can’t be blamed on weather. Disappointing and gross.
