The media could not be loaded. My budgies absolutely love this. Worth every penny and then some. My one budgie, who doesn't really care for toys like the rest do, used to sit on her perch and pick at 1 spot of over and over. I felt terrible that she didn't want to play with the rest and was going "stir crazy" from lack of enrichment. However, 2 days after I put these in the cage, she has been picking at it ever since. I am so happy that she has something to do now. All the budgies & parrots like these but I am especially happy that my neurotic, crabby budgie has found something she enjoys doing. The thickness seems adequate and time consuming to chew. They are easily soft enough to easily dig down inside with both their beaks and feet. The only issue I have with this product is the wire attachments on each side for hanging it. I personally cut the wires from mine and attached twine instead. The wire seems very fine and my fear was them getting their toes stuck & cut on it. But its an issue I was able to easily resolve on my own.

The KOZY KEET is a very effective exercise for budgies to keep them active and playful. I've purchased several over the years. They cannot resist getting after it They instinctively know just what to do I have put shredded paper in them after having been hallowed out to continue their fun Hope to find other ideas to repurpose this great toy Strongly recommend this item. It's a lot smaller than the usual ones I buy but it seems to be serving the purpose! But in all reality kinds small for pkeets! Still will be hard for them to turn wth their tails

The parakeets like these logs and have fun hollowing them out. I had also some parakeets breed in this type of log once. The only downside are the hanging wires which are way too flimsy. I always replace them with wires from metal coat hangers.

No stars and No good, needs improvementThis is Not a suitable substitute for a proper nest to buggies/parakeets it's too small and dangerous the wires can hurt your bird's wings!! Also the wires come out alwing the whole nest to fall.
