    I have a worklight that used this style bulb in halogen.These LED bulbs don't put out the heat and draw less current so I can use a higher wattage rating for more light output.

    I wanted to replace the existing halogen light bulbs with that of LED because of the heat halogen lights generate. It was easy to do, but these LED lights don’t perform well in comparison with the halogen when it comes to the dimming option. It seems that the UV filters that come with the halogen lights are not needed for LED. The LED brightness is great without the heat. Thanks
