5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding value! I’ll keep buying these
I love these things! This is actually my second order and I’m just as thrilled as the first. The value is outstanding compared to other compression pants on the market of this quality (think UA).These aren’t thick and they’re not advertised to be, so you aren’t going to want to rely on them as an extreme cold weather base layer; as a fall, mild winter base layer they are absolutely perfect. I’m a first responder and wear them every night under my uniform. I also occasionally wear them under shorts to the gym, usually on leg or cardio days. They are great for running, the little cell phone pocket keeps your phone tight to your body rather then slamming around in your loose pants / shorts pocket (or the annoyance of having to hold it in your hand). They are also cut for a man, unlike a lot of the other “cheap” alternatives on the market here at Bolo. These actually fit supportively in the crotch. There are other companies that make cheap compression pants that I’ve found to have a “unisex” cut (although they aren’t advertised that way) and they literally have zero support. It’s an injury waiting to happen for a compression pant situation, not to mention very uncomfortable. These keep you comfy and snug during all activities.Overall, I love these things. I actually use their tops as base layers under my uniforms as well and I’m very happy with those also. For sizing, I’m 5’8” 160lbs with an athletic build and the mediums fit me perfectly.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great
Purchased for a friend on his journey to a healthier lifestyle. Love the pockets and the fit was perfect. Great price breathable stretch is good and the material is nice.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good quality for an entry level baselayer
First of all I have to preface that this is the first pair of base layer tights I've owned so my experience is with a very small sample size... ok I lied, it's my second. The first pair I got actually made my legs feel colder when I moved in them. Hard to describe but it was like the material somehow amplified any cool air around me or something. I retuned them and got these. They fit well, I'm 5'7" and 142 but have slightly longer legs than my size would dictate for most people of similar size, maybe by an extra 1". They leave about 1/2" gap on my ankles above my socks but I'm ok with that. The rest of it fits well and is comfortable. I was looking for something to give me a little bit of warmth when running below 50 degrees, or maybe a little more appropriately below about 45 degrees. With that in mind they seem to fit that purpose. They provide just a little bit of extra warmth without overheating your legs and when you're done, although you can feel the sweat inside, they breathe really well and your legs will dry out in minutes. I really love that about them so you don't have to walk around or get back in the car with sweaty legs for the drive home.I kinda feel though that if you are exercising with it below 40, or maybe closer to 35 and under, they wouldn't quite be thick/warm enough. IDK, I honestly didn't try them to that low but they don't seem to provide a ton of warmth, just enough to get to that next level when it starts dipping cold. Luckily where I live I don't need to run in such cold weather and if I were to play in the snow I'd probably go with more traditional thermals. I did wear them under jeans to shovel snow at our cabin in the 20s and 30s and they kept me warm for a few hours that day.I think they are a good, low-cost product for the purpose mentioned. If you need something for colder weather or that will keep you warm longer, I'm not sure if they will hold up but maybe get them and if they don't you can use them when it's a little warmer. Otherwise I think it's a good product, look good on me, the pocket works great and I don't have to wear a running belt to hold my phone and keys.
5.0 out of 5 stars The fit
I have probably 10 to 15 different pairs of leggings I got turned on to him about a year ago this brand makes the best fitting leggings for men that have muscular physique and if you're looking for a pair to make your butt look great these do it
5.0 out of 5 stars Size?.... 3 colors 3 sizes ***Updated***
***UPDATED*** at the end. Wish i read more of the other reviews about sizing. I'm 6'1" 200lbs. I wear a large in other major brands. So i ordered a size large. I tried the Navy blue ones on and they were pretty loose.. especially for compression. The ankles were really floppy and I don't have small ankles or legs. Leggings need to be tight all the way down. I returned them for a size medium. I tried the Navy blue ones on and they were a lot better.... actually i like them a lot. Warm and comfy... love the pockets too.... but the problem came when I tried the black and white ones on.... very inconsistent sizing. The black ones I could barely get on and the white ones even worse.... Definitely cut like they are 3 different sizes... I would definitely give a 5 star rating and buy more if they could get the sizing more consistent. Wish I could just exchange the other 2 for a size up and keep the blue ones that I know fit me. ***Update*** the seller contacted me about the sizing issue and they offered me a few options to make it right. I changed it to a 5 star rating for a good quality product and great customer service.
5.0 out of 5 stars So warm wicking and comfortable
I work outdoors all dayI love these so much more than any other johns
5.0 out of 5 stars Fit me well and are comfortable
I bought these on sale for $25.99. I feel like I got a great deal on them. I am 6'1" and have a thin build. I bought the fleece lined set, large. They fit me really well but are a bit short on my legs. That's fine though. Long socks can and will make up for that area. They are about as warm as I was expecting. My only real complaint is that there is a spot in the back right on your spine where they put a tag. I cut this tag off because it was a bit uncomfortable on the skin. Sadly it didn't really fix the problem. Also the groin area can be a bit uncomfortable. This is probably because I'm used to wearing loose fitting underwear. I would have liked a hole there for easy access, but I don't think it's a normal thing with this type of product. Regardless, I'm very happy with my purchase.
