About this item:
The Gillette Mach3 Sensitive razor for men is a three-bladed razor that is designed for sensitive skin with an enhanced lubricating gel strip (vs Mach3) that glides to help stop irritation while delivering a close shave. Features three DuraComfort blades for long lasting comfort, and with stronger-than-steel blades, this razor stays sharper longer (vs. Sensor3). The soft microfins gently stretch and smooth skin preparing hairs to be cut. The open-blade architecture makes rinsing your razor easier and each blade refill lasts for up to 15 comfortable shaves. The Mach3 Sensitive razor handle is expertly balanced and weighted for optimal control and fits all Mach3 razor blade refills.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stays Sharp Be Sharp
Went back to Gillette after leaving many years ago because 5 blade version got too costly.Left Harry’s 5 blade razor I used 7 years . The 3 blade Gillette is better and doesn’t cost much.
4.0 out of 5 stars quite a difference from the regular Mach 3
These razors seem a lot sharper then the regular Mach 3 blades. It could be because I had boughtthe refills from a club store and had them for about 2 years. Just have to take your time and not makeany wrong turns on your face.
5.0 out of 5 stars blades
last a long time,real good
5.0 out of 5 stars better then i remebered them.
i used mach 3 razors for years and switched to DSC because they were a little cheaper. Those razors were almost as good but the head would pop off at the slightest tap. I like to strop my razors before I shave, especially when the blade is a bit old. you can't do that with the DSC brand because of that intentional design flaw (they claim it's safer.. it's not, just dumber). I used these for the first time in years and I'm never straying again. I'll pay the couple more dollars for the better quality of life.
5.0 out of 5 stars And I thought the regular mach 3 was top of the line
Well what can I say. I think the sensitive Mach 3 razors highly compete with the regular. I have sensitive skin issues. I burn easily and I gotta be careful about the wet razor I use. and even shaving cream. These shave like nobody's business and I do not get bumps.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not as close of a shave
Not bad, but after using regular Mach3 blades for years I decided to try the sensitive skin version. Very noticeably not as close a shave. Will not purchase again.
5.0 out of 5 stars Sensitive skin razors - where have you been all my life????!!!!!
I have been shaving every day for over 56 years - and just now I have discovered sensitive skin razors. Oh, what a DIFFERENCE!!!! Gone are the days when I would nick myself shaving with an ordinary razor. The sensitive skin razor glides effortlessly on my smooth skin and gives me a nice, close shave every time. But most importantly, I'm not resorting to a styptic pencil or piece of tissue to stem the bleeding. Oh, happy day!!!!! Highly recommend if you have sensitive skin. Never going back.....
Gillette Hit It Out of the Park with the Mach 3
When I was young and lovely in '98, I chanced on what was then a fairly new razor, the Mach 3 from Gillette. Trials with dozens of other shavers during the in-between years takes me back to the M3. In my opinion it outperforms all else.More as an enthusiast than anything, I opted for this green ver. v. the generic M3. It turns out this shaver confers an enhanced lubrication strip--nice, but the base design is what makes it a winner. The metal handle features a textured rubber grip lending a sense of quality. After a debacle using a Harry's shaver, I came to appreciate Gillete's approach to solid design, namely, the handle-head connection. I don't recall one instance of the head detaching in use, keeping in mind I don't shave with any creams or lubes, only a spritz of alcohol when useful. The rubber really hits the rd with the cartridge itself. The M3 has always sported fine blades to last a good damn while. My last M3 cartridge prior to these was on track to last me a year. That's right--a *year*--b/f the shaver got stolen. (Update: Proof is in the pic; this is the replacement Mach3 cartridge head I've used for 12 mths. Note wear on rubber skin guard signaling long use.) It's possible to get that sort of mileage from a quality shaver provided one thoroughly cleans the head right after each use. Gillette's design allows a generous amt of water to hit the blades from the back (where you should be aiming) to flush out gunk. I often lightly run a bristle with this after a heavy shave. Then I do a quick strop and dry the cartridge for storage.Glad to be back with Gillette, I'm done riding the train of alt.-market razors. Disposables will always be what they are, while the dbl-razor movement will likely peter out. For guys who can ably wield a barber's blade, I say power to them. As I happily rediscovered in the Mach 3, the sweet spot is a three-blade head coupled to a solid handle, giving an ideal balance of price v. performance.
