You get a lot for the money. Heavy pan, nice lid that is stable upside down too, and a flat base which is nice for those with flat electric stove tops. Definitely worth the money. I only hand wash and use silicone utensils in this pan.

This pan is my favorite thing in my kitchen now. Its my first ceramic pan and it has been a breeze to clean no matter what you cook in it. I made sure to purchase silicone utensils to use to make sure the coating isn't damaged over time.

Update 12/2024I bought this pan in April 2024 and the nonstick surface stopped workingIn December 2024. I oil the pan before cooking anything and use silicone utensils. I paid around $50 for a pan that lasted 8 months. Bacon sticks to it and leaves a brown residue. It washes off but it's no longer non stick.I followed the instructions and purchased silicone utensils for cooking and have used the pan about 6 times. It works beautifully and cooks evenly. I bought an oil spray bottle and filled it with olive oil and that has been helpful for oiling the pan prior to cooking. The pan is heavy but not too heavy and the oval knob on the lid is perfect it fits your hands so much better and is easier to control.

The pans from this manufacturer are awesome! My wife and child love cooking with them, because they are so light, compared to what we had. They also love all the color options! The best part for me is the cleaning. It's so quick and easy to clean. I wish I would have found out about these back in 2000, if they were available. I basically replaced all of our used and deteriorating pans, even the ones with a non-stick and most likely toxic coating. The handle is a good length and coated with a rubbery non-slick texture. It's great to keep the handles cool. The support handle also has the same coating. The lid also stays cool to the touch. The lid does not have a vent and is a normal glass lid. They get hard to clean, right around where the metal and glass touch due to evaporation and splatter. The liquid seeps into that connection point. Unless the entire lid is one complete piece, it just physics. The four-star rating is because I have a gas stove and the burners are wide for the main burner where this pan is usually used on. Even at medium or low heat, the rubbery handle coating get burned and might potentially melt, exposing the metal underneath. I'm very meticulous when I'm cooking and also explain technique and how to care for these pans, to my wife and child. Even with those precautions, the coating is bubbling and charred. The covering hasn't melted, yet. I hope they don't. I have smaller pans from Greenpan, but none this size. It would be a shame if the coating started to melt off.

Best pan ever
I love this huge frying pan. The whole breakfast fry-up goes in it. Sausages and onions - plenty of room. Easy to clean too. It is the end of August 2024 now and it is wearing well. I wash it by hand.
