I love this cake holder! It has 6 different uses and I will definitely be using all 6. I was expecting this to be cheap plastic and flimsy. I was surprisingly impressed. It’s made very well, and it’s very pretty.

You're supposed to be able to turn the cover upside down and use it like a punch bowl. No way! It can't balance properly. That said, I like that it's lightweight because it is acrylic and the other versatile ways to configure it. I do worry that after some use, it will be scratched. But it is a very pretty pattern and good value for the money

This is a very inexpensive cake stand, but the tradeoffs can make it worth the purchase. This entire product consists of 3 acrylic pieces that can be arranged for different uses. I have seen one glass version that does this but it has no design embossed into it. With acrylic, you can not use microfiber on it or you will leave thousands of tiny scratches that will end up making the surface look foggy. It is also gas-permeable so you should wash it well and not let very fragrant things sit in it forever and ever.However, I am pedantic and clumsy, so it is easy to keep it clean, but I have already subjected the cloche to two instances where I was glad it was not glass. Also, acrylic will not readily condense moisture inside the frame, and is a better thermal condenser, meaning I can put fresh croissants in this stand and they will stay warm longer and won't get soggy after a while. Lastly, it is super light, so I can take the small stand piece off and use it to transport cake or treats without becoming over-encumbered, and it can sit on my microwave without slowly turning its top into a hyperbolic paraboloid. Overall I would recommend it unless you are really lazy and want the easy to clean and non-porous aspects of glass

I was hoping for a heavier plastic dome, but this item is really cheap and lightweight. If you nudge it lightly the whole lid flies off. The dome itself is also kind of low, so you can't like, store bagels or something like that. We're still using it, but it is frustrating if it gets bumped, everything falls out. It might be cute on a charcuterie board with something smaller and heavier inside, like a block of cheese or something maybe.

This works fine for my family’s needs. I do wish it was taller though; it is very short which takes up a lot of space on the kitchen counter. It is made of plastic so I hope it will last. I don’t know that these are worth $20 but they are useful and do their job..*UPDATE:I revise my earlier review, and drop my rating to 1 star. Upon my 3rd time using the cake stand, I baked a cake in a Bundt pan, let it sit on the stove about 30 minutes to cool, and then when I put the cake on the stand, it completely cracked down one side! The cake was barely warm. I used my hands to arrange it so I know for a fact that it wasn’t too hot. This is unacceptable in my opinion. Worthless piece of junk. Will be throwing away and purchasing a sturdy glass cake stand like I should have done to begin with..

The description of the product is incorrect it does not mention that it is made of plastic. very tricky language used. i got to know when it arrive and now shipping back cost got deducted for $15

For $65 I did not anticipate a plastic server.I was looking at glass and I clicked on this item and I didn’t realize that I was buying acrylic. So be very cautious as it is easy to be fooled. I will return this.I am updating this review to express that Golda’s Kitchen handled this promptly and with integrity and I although I wasn’t pleased with the product I was very impressed by the seller’s business integrity and would recommend this seller. If you like plastic products this item is functional and is made to look like crystal and arrived in good condition.
