When I was a child, I was always hungry and similarly curious about cooking. Learning to open cans and prepare their contents on a stovetop were skills that literally have kept me alive. I appreciate the experience and opportunity to continue to do so. I associated Dinty Moore with dinner and good times, easily prepared dependably produced. These pull top cans make it easier, no doubt. The extensive shelf life (the 'BEST BY' date on the cans I received is August 2027 [they won't last that long in my pantry]) is quite convenient. These will probably all be gone before the end of the year.

Very hard to do any better than the Dinty Moore Beef Stew. And it does have beef in it unlike a lot of other beef stews. It’s great quick meal, would be a great camping meal without all the work. You can’t go wrong, try it.

I was trying to stock up on soups and stews for winter. Decided to go ahead and get these. They came pretty dented and one had an upside down label. So that's the only thing I'm a little upset about.
