This light switch is very attractive and works great with Alexa and the Smart Life app. It is easy to install and setup, but realize that you will need the Panduit cover plate if you are installing this in a two gang box (which you most likely are if you are buying the double switch). Wiring is simple, but, you must connect a neutral wire (typically the white wire in the US) to this switch. There a pretty good chance that your existing switch has a black wire coming in and going out of it. One is the Line (voltage from your electrical service panel) and one is the Load (power passing through the switch to your light). Your neutral wire might just be stuffed in the box, in which case you will have to run a wire (a pigtail) to that bundle of neutral wires (probably white) to provide a neutral for this switch. You can pair this switch using the Smart Life app, and then rename the switch whatever you like (eg. Bedroom, Man Cave, etc.). Through the Smart Life App, you can control each switch individually (and name each switch), and see whether it is on or off no matter where you are. Using Alexa to control this switch, you can only turn both lights on or off (no independent control of each switch). For example, if you have a ceiling fan with a light in it (wired separately), you can turn on just the fan or just the light with the app. Using Alexa, it's all or nothing. For my application, the ceiling fan has the light built in and runs on one circuit and is controlled by a remote, my second switch controls a switched outlet that has other lights attached to it. You must have a router with a 2.4Ghz network in order to use this switch. Which you probably do if you are using Echo dots or firesticks in your house, so no worries. You can even use your FireTV or FireStick remote to turn this switch on (even if your TV isn't on), if you do not have an Echo nearby. I hope that this review helped someone decide whether or not to get this switch. I personally love the switch.This is the adapter you'll need to fit this into a two gang box. Don't waste your time looking for something else that will work, I looked high and low. 5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality dimmer, easy to install, beautiful look
Bought these for my home theater lights, and was pleasantly surprised to learn that on turning them on or off, they slowly glow into brightness and dim slowly to black, instead of 'snapping on and off'. Perfect for my theater. Be advised that, if using these with LED lights, the LED's don't have a dim setting below around 15% brightness. So the lights, if off, will 'snap' on to around 15% brightness, then slowly and smoothly brighten to full (or wherever you had the brightness set the last time the lights were on, as it remembers this and goes back to it again the next time you turn them on), and when turning them off, they dim slowly and smoothly down to around 15%, then snap all the way off. I wish this wasn't a thing, but I believe it's more a product of the cheaper LED's I use, as opposed to any flaw in the design and operation of this switch. Either way, love these switches, and I'll be buying more of them for use elsewhere in the house. Oh yeah! Alexa works great with them, too. Just be ready for the little snap, and there's like a 3 second delay before the switch responds. So tell her to turn the light on once, and wait a few seconds before barking at her again because it seems like she's not responding. LOL
4.0 out of 5 stars Sleek & Functional Smart Switch for Fan+Light
It is sleek and nice looking on the wall. Replaced my dumb switch with not much effort (one needs to watch some youtube videos if not familiar with live, neutral, load, ground, etc wires since the diagram is not much help with the letters being too small and writing diagram confusing to a novice). All the lights started blinking as soon as the power was turned on. The lights worked immediately but the fan wasn't very responsive. Connected it to the app. The app took some time to connect with the device after multiple tries. Once connected all the blinking lights went away and everything worked well. The light and the fan turned on and off independently. I can increase and decrease the fan speed on the wall unit but not the light intensity. Only the fan will turn on or off on the app. No control for the light switch on the app nor the fan speed. It was giving me an error message (photo) and I believe if that is fixed may be more controls are possible. Will call customer service later. The silhouette lights on the panel in the dark are nice but the difference in intensities are a bit unsightly (photo). Overall, it is nice looking and functional and does the job that I wanted it to do. I can now turn off the fan remotely when my daughter forgets : )

This is simply an amazing product once you factor in the price. I have 6 installed, a mix of the 2 switch and 3 switch models, and I had zero issues with the installation. I did have to do some rewiring which included bringing in a neutral line to some of the switch boxes and some elective rewiring since I wanted to be able to turn my overhead lights and ceiling fans on and off independent of each other.I have a dual WiFi network (Both 2.4 and 5.8) under the same SSID and had absolutely no issues getting them registered with the smart life app even though my key has both spaces and special characters. Integration with Alexa was just as simple.I ordered and installed 4 more so that all of my lights controlled by wall switches will be on these. The 4 most recent are either a newer or older version as they appear to have copper terminal screws, be careful tightening them as it is very easy to twist the screw head off.I did have a problem with one of the 3 switch models, the middle (L2) switch appeared to function correctly but did not actually output any power. I contacted the seller and had a response within 5 minutes after 10:00PM local time, I was impressed by the quick response. I was asked the prerequisite did you wire it correctly type of questions which I cannot fault them for as I am sure many problems with these arise from improper wiring. They immediately agreed to replace the product and did so with no additional effort on my part. This is a solid 4 star product but the quality customer support bumps it to 5 stars in my opinion.

Funciona bien tambien como switch escalera
Una vez que se tiene el neutro al alcance es muy facil de hacerlo funcionar y funciona muy bien con alexa y Google home.Batalle bastante en configurarlo en un inicio en smart life o tuya smart, ya que estaba introduciendo la contraseña de wifi en minusculas y nunca me dijo que estuviera mal la contraseña, una vez que intente volver a poner la contraeña (1 hora despues) se configuró muy bien y no me ha dado molestias.Si no se tiene internet de todos modos funciona solo que no se podrán usar los programas IF, pero manualmente si responde.Use uno para controlar la escalera, aun cuando no es específicamente para esto. Solo conecte la corriente y el foco a uno de estos y en el otro solo la corriente, configure que cuando se prendiera o apagara cualquiera de los 2 switches mandara la señal al otro interruptor para que se pusiera en el mismo estado. 4 reglas en el tuya smart y quedo funcionando como switch de escalera. Hay videos en youtube de como hacerlo mejor explicado de lo que lo estoy haciendo.Recomendado.

The media could not be loaded. Es muy elegante y fácil de usar. La instalación es muy sencilla en cuanto sepas lo básico de una instalación eléctrica, de lo contrario se recomienda pedir ayuda a un experto. Si vives en México probablemente tu instalación no cuente con un cable Neutro en tus aparadores, por lo cual se requiere ayuda de un experto para la instalación de este cable.La conexión con la app es bastante sencilla, solo agregas un nuevo dispositivo, le das tu contraseña de Wi-Fi y la app lo vinculará sola.Es muy practicó con el asistente de Google y con Alexa.
Muy buen switch, util y sencillo de instalar
Excelente producto hasta el momento. Llegó a tiempo, completo y todo fue relativamente sencillo de instalar desde eléctricamente hasta la app y su configuración con Alexa. Viene un manual dentro de la caja que te explica las conexiones eléctricas. Sí ocupas el cable neutro que por lo general viene en color blanco en una casa mas nueva. La mayor complicación fue al colocar todo dentro de la caja chalupa ya que es algo ancha. Bajas la app de smart life y creas un usuario, buscará una red y le asignas la de tu modem, luego buscará el switch y podrás encender y apagar de la app smart life. Para comunicar con Alexa ocupas bajar el skill de smart life en la app de Bolo Alexa e ingresar el usuario que habías creado en smart life para vincular tu info. Ya dentro de la app de alexa configuras los nombres de los switches y wuala a disfrutar desde fuera de tu casa o acostado en tu cama el encendido y apagado
Funciona perfectamente en mexico
Funciona perfectamente lo conecte para controlar un ventilador con foco que compre en HD y el cual me falló el control de pared, ojo se necesita tener el neutro, yo en mi caso lo jale de un contacto que tenía cercano, este neutro es para la tarjeta electrónica del interruptor no se envía al ventilador por eso me funciona bien, debido a que los tornillos para la clemas quedan en la parte súperior tocarían con la chalupa que en mi caso es de metal, le coloque varias capas de aislante y así evitar un cortocircuito lo empotre en donde tenía anteriormente el control de pared y embono perfecto. Lo probé de manera manual con los botones del interruptor y con Alexa y todo bien
