My husband & I have 12" king size mattress & recently added a 3" mattress topper to that, so I now have to have sheets & covers that for 15 inches . I really liked our old duvet, but after adding the topper it no longer fell as nicely or covered as well at the bottom or sides of the bed. Drives me a bit crazy when you can see the sheets sticking out on the sides of the bed because the comforter doesn't meet the bed skirt.I went hunting for a duvet that was larger & this one came in an oversized king, in a beautiful navy color, similar to what we had previously. For reference my previous comforter was 90" x 108". This new oversized king is 116" x 108" & gives the bed the coverage I was looking for.I like that the stitches were added throughout so the stuffing is not able to move around during regular use or during washing. It's soft & feels nice against your skin. It's a perfect thickness/ heaviness for year round use, even here in FL. There are hooks at each corner & along the edges for a duvet cover to be attached to as well, though it will be a bit more difficult to find a cover in this size, I've looked. That does not affect my opinion at all however, I did not purchase this with the intention of adding a cover & feel it is very nice looking by itself.It has the added benefit of looking great with throw pillows & shams I already had as well, sorry they are not in the picture, but take my word for it lol.I have not laundered this yet, but when I first received it I hand fluffed it some, let it sit out for a couple hrs unwrapped, then I did place it in the dryer for 10 mins or so on light heat. This removed any wrinkles & fluffed up the comforter nicely. I didn't have any issue with it re-expanding or looking flat out of the shipping container. I have also spot cleaned a few areas & had no issues with color change or transfer, & no marking left behind.For all the other dog owners out there, another reason I purchased this was because our previous cover was grabbing our Shepsky's fur like crazy. She's double coated & sheds year round. I love her but also like my house clean, I was spending 15ins every mo removing dog from our bed! You'll see in the picture she does have her own dog blanket at the bottom of the bed that is folded down, but that doesn't stop her fluffs from floating about all over at night. This duvet lint rolls really nicely, & quickly, or I take a wet paper towel & just brush the dog hair off onto the floor to be vacuumed up very easily.I'll update as soon as it gets a full bath in the washer for anyone that wants to know. I usually wash comforters every 3-4 months depending.I would absolutely purchase this again & am already thinking about getting a 2nd color when I want a different look or this 1 goes in the wash.

I originally came across this duvet insert when they were on the bed of a VRBO we rented. I was so impressed with the comfort and quality that I looked at the tag and ordered them on the spot. I put it on my bed as soon as we returned home. They have replaced my existing comforter. So happy with the cost and quality that I ordered another set for my daughter's bed at college. It is the perfect weight - keeps us warm without being hot.

I really like this insert. First, I washed it right out to of the package and it washed so well. Didn't shrink, stayed fluffy and continued to keep its shape. I also like that it is not too heavy and I believe will work well in all seasons.I ordered the King Sized which after laying it upon my bed, I think I should have gotten the King Plus. It literally just fits the top of my king sized mattress (no overhang). My duvet is also a king sized duvet which does happen to hang over the top of the bed. Although I guess that is on me for not looking at the dimensions of the insert. However, when something says King sized... I assumed it would fit like a King size.All that aside, I do like that it has ties in all four corners and along the side so it can attach to a duvet if you have one . I also like that it is not too heavy and I believe will work well in all seasons.I would give this 4 stars. It is a nice quality insert for the price, but I would definitely check the size before purchasing.

I sleep great with this. I live in a warm climate and it wasn't to hot but provided just enough warmth to be comfortable all night. I washed it immediately upon arrival and had no issues with and of the filling shifting or balling up like I've had with previous blankets. The 8 loops for the duvet cover make for easy attachment and it hasn't shifted or needed to be rearranged yet. The loft is perfect for me as I don't want to feel like I'm sleeping with a pillow on top of me. If you want one of those super lofty looking duvet inserts that some hotels use this won't be for you. But if you want something that does the job, stays together, and looks good out of the box then this is for you. For further clarification I paired this with a duvet cover from the same company. For this reason I cannot speak on how it will fit with a cover from a different company, as I've noticed some were sized differently.

I love this light blue color - it is a gorgeous aqua. Soft and well made with many loops to attach to your duvet cover. It is lighter weight than I realized (it is all season, I guess I didn't think about what that meant). Right now, it feels great, and when it gets really cold, I can always throw in a blanket along with it in my duvet cover. I think it will be fine.
