Firstly, the description needs to mention the size. The storage box is 9" tall x 7" wide x 1-1/2" thick.The problem I was trying to solve was to find something to hold my Milwaukee drill and driver bits. I've been using the case they came in, and it's a real pain. The bits are in so tight that I have to use plyers to get them out, and there's no space for anything additional. TThis case solves both problems and provided a couple of unexpected benefits: • While the bits aren't in individual slots, they are easy enough to spot and MUCH easier to get. And, there's plenty of space for more accessories, including ones that would have been too large for the original case. • Opening the hinged lid provides a convenient tray to put small parts while I'm working on something. • This case seems pretty tough. I wouldn't drive over it with my can, but I can stand on it without it breaking. • Finally, I keep this in my tool bag, standing up. So, even though it holds more (and still has lots of room to spare), it takes up less space in my tool bag.This is a great value and I'll buy another without a second thought.

I like that this seems to be pretty rugged and that the compartments can be customized. I have a socket set that didn't have an acceptable case in it - the set belonged to my dad and means something to me. It works great and I'm pleased the socket set now has a good-fitting case.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice Box, Not Good For Small Parts
These are nice little boxes at a great price, but there's a frustrating design flaw that allows small parts to mix with other bins. For whatever reason, Dewalt put a recessed groove (photo) around the perimeter that's 2mm lower than the flat bottom. This allows cross contamination of parts, as thin washers, etc., have free roaming privileges. In addition, thin screw heads, like modified-truss, get stuck in these divider gaps (photo) and you must use a tool to set these puppies free... yikes! I had to put a bead of clear Gorilla Glue around the bottoms of bins with thin parts.It's odd how such a nice storage box could be designed with gaps under dividers?? Dewalt should really do beta field testing before releasing products.Regardless, it's a sturdy box that works great for non-thin parts - I just ordered another one.

Used this to organize my socket set. Pretty good build quality for plastic and it latches nice and tight. The adjustable dividers are simple and versatile. Easily fits in a tool bag

These are sturdy and the compartments are customizable. Multiple units can lock together to create a tight stack of small parts storage. I got them for random computer accessories- for example it fits a WiFi pineapple M7 very nicely

You can't beat these little storage boxes for the price. I have a few of them now, and wont hesitate to buy more. I have been using clear plastic Plano tackle/storage boxes for years, but not anymore. I'm slowly switching over to these and the smaller black ones. I just wish I could find some of the large size ones that these stack together with. I'm even going to get my wife a few of these to put her sewing stuff and other little knickknacks in.

So much space! Great value for storage for drill bits. Can have 1 or 2 of these instead of 4 or 5 of the the regular dewalt rectangle boxes. Great space saver
