I've always wanted one of these, just in case but I just didn't like the fact that most of these tools had to be stored in your clove box or somewhere in the car. My thought was, if I was in the situation where I needed it I could be too panicked or drop, etc. This fits right into the lighter and offers a charger outlet. So, I know just where it is, it's useful as a secondary tool AND it's a quick grab for immediately use.

Bought a cheap chinese knockoff of this design years ago but finally found one (this one) from a reliable company. The knockoff was not built well and the window breaking/car charger feature unscrewed at one point. This one has not come loose, its built well, and works as a car charger.

Because of the seatbelt and glass break features, this should be in the front seat of everyone’s vehicle. It fits snug in the lighter, so you don’t have to worry about it falling out. Also, charges well. In event of an emergency, you will know exactly where the seatbelt cutter and glass break is located. Could find this with my eyes closed as it’s always within arms reach. Don’t have to worry about sifting through a console to find it. I ended up purchasing this for every member of my family. Why spend money on a USB charging port without these safety features. Genius design.

This item is exactly as described. We have one in each of our cars and gave one to our children for Christmas. It is a lot more compact than other escape tools and the added charging port is a plus. It is a bit large for some plug areas, though, so be sure you have enough room to plug it in.

Long story short, I ordered six of these from a company I was ordering from and they were backordered before Christmas. I ordered five from Bolo and they were shipped together and timely. Needless to say, I wound up with eleven and gave them all away. Everyone was happy to receive one and especially noting that two devices can be charged if needed.

I have 2 problems with this:1. The tightener springs are too narrow, it slides right out after inserting it.2. If I hold it into the port, it doesn't seem to power my existing phone charger.The adapter this replaced is a low end 2 port model, THAT one works great (but doesn't have the safety advantages). This one has the safety advantages, but I can't use it as a charge adapter.
