The media could not be loaded. I picked it up for hiking and just taking candid photos here and there. The battery life is great. The usability is great! I only have a few complaints but over all it was worth the purchase. The power button is sensitive and it turns itself on while in my purse a lot. The wifi option is a little finicky at times. And I wish there was a quicker way to switch from the scene modes to automatic mode. I took some amazing pictures while hiking and going for walks in the snow. Not having to touch a screen came in clutch in the cold weather. I’ve beat it up pretty good and it’s survived so far.

I bought this camera for a trip to Cancun. It did not disappoint. It's easy to use and takes really good pictures. It's very solid with excellent fit and finish. I had it to a depth of about 3 feet in a lagoon and it worked fine. It has quite a few scenes for various conditions, with a special underwater scene that's easy to find. I also had several pictures developed; for 4x6 size the results are crisp with good color. I had no problems with the wifi feature. This is a great camera for the price!

Heads up to anyone considering buying this thinking it will hook up to a laptop thru wifi.... it won't. Still using the same old 1990s tech of plugging a cable between the camera and computer. I guess you could also travel back in time and use a card reader. Kodak will tell you to use their app, but there's a reason it's got that stellar 1.8 rating. Besides no real wifi, the viewing screen is really hard to see in the water, reducing trying to take photos to pointing in the general direction of your subject and snapping away. Battery has short life but that was expected. I was going to post some underwater photos but the best I can tell from scrolling thru on the tiny screen, there's not too many that you could even identify. As you may be able to tell, I am very disappointed and cannot recommend that anyone buy the same camera.

As an ex 'photo-pro' I wanted the exact opposite of a manual camera. As it turns out, my phone does better at point-and-shoot. In full auto mode, this camera tends to pick ridiculously slow shutter speeds, rendering blurred pictures.Sea level or below, you will need to go into manual MODE, set the shutter speed to 1/250th of a sec and raise the ASA, or set it to 'auto'. 1/60th sec shutter speed is all you need in low light, the flash will make the exposure at short distances, but who want's to mess with that? Set the flash to auto. When you hit the MODE button, you have to hold it down to be able to select the shutter & ASA settings - the instructions are very vague and not worth a damn.There is no stabilization for video, so take a Valium and steady your grip - or use a tripod. There is that typically annoying digital camera delay on the shutter button. Be patient, it will show you if you got the shot. Takes a nice picture when you set it right.IF YOU ARE A SNORKELER OR SCUBA DIVER: You can take this down with you - up to [stated] 50 ft. Also, as an ex diver, the color balance underwater is different. You can take a picture of a very colorful scene - with a regular camera in a waterproof "housing"...."down there", come back to the surface, load it up on your PC, and it looks like dog doo. However, this camera has an underwater mode that color corrects for this. This, plus waterproof housing, is a huge plus for underwater shutterbugs.So, for the bright side - 16 megapixels [overkill for sharing on the web] and it doesn't drown when it gets wet! I will take this out on my kayak and leave my expensive phone in a "drybag"! I bought this strictly for wet, swampy adventures.Back in the 70's, when I was scuba diving, you couldn't even dream of affording this camera - IF it had ever even existed - in a dream back then! And if it had existed, it would have been as big and heavy as a car battery.

I got this for my 10 year old when we went to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. It took decent pictures as long as it was not moving. He wore it around his neck and swam with it when he walked the narrows and it stayed dry.

Takes very good photos , very simple to setup and use. You do need to buy a micro SD card. A pack of 2 32 GB IS less than 20$. And holds almost 6,000 photos on each card. The macro on is amazing and will shoot very close. Telephone works fine. Doesn’t get too grainy. For 149$ it’s a great little camera to take to the pool or beach. When you shoot’s holt the shutter button for a second till the light is green and fire. Very simple. Also has various settings for the flash fill flash and slow synch flash. Underwater mode for color correction which works pretty well. You can also set it for spot or center weighted if you wish. An all around excellent small camera. Fits in the palm of your hand. Very good buy.

Fotos acuáticas fabulosas
Me parece una camara increíble por ese precio y como alternativa a las deportivas acuáticas que tienen más angular. No se puede comparar con la calidad de GoPro pero ofrece una calidad más que aceptable. Tiene flash, ofrece diferentes escenarios, permite control remoto y es muy resistente a golpes y al agua salada. La probé en mar pero sin alcanzar los 15 metros. Dudé en comprarla por algunas reseñas pero me alegro de haberla comprado. Está fenomenal.
