5.0 out of 5 stars 11 Star Lens For the 25mm & 50mm
I give this Lens an 11 out of 5 stars, great portrait lens. To qualify I'm a video person shooting on a Lumix G-95 and this works great for me! If your a photo shooter IDK I think the still are great but I'm not shooting $1,000 portraits. Love the all metal construction very smooth adjustments. As soon as I got it I ordered their 25mm lens too, Brightin Star you rock! I now have the 25mm & 50mm Brightin Star lens love them both they give me the full frame look with soft backgrounds for a fraction of the price!
5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT LENS FOR A GREAT PRICE!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS LENS!! It is a manual lens but that doesn't take away anything from the lens. It fits perfectly on my M50 and it is very well made. The only thing I would say for me is the lens cap. It is made out of metal and it gives it a great look but since i like to put UV filters on my lenses for protection, the cap becomes useless. Easy fix though. Other than that, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING LENS in my opinion. Easily my new favorite lens in my collection.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great Lens!
Great lens for the price! But I returned it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Seriousness of the manufacturer
The first lens was defective and the manufacturer immediately wanted to know why. It was an action of great seriousness and professionalism. The replaced lens is perfect.Excellent mechanics, sliding and easy to use rings.Great quality of German-derived optics , excellent blur, excellent distortion correction, excellent colorimetry (paste). At this price it is a small miracle .It is an absolutely valid and advisable product also thanks to the seriousness and professionalism of the manufacturer. You can find a review and more images if you search in Google "Lippiello Productions" blog.
3.0 out of 5 stars This lens did not work for me
I have a Fujifilm XT-4 and I'm not crazy about this lens. I shoot a lot of landscape and photos of my young grandchildren. I have a lot of difficulty when shooting the kids and these are the reasons: a). it is manual focus, b). the f-stop ring doesn't have clicks and its easy to slip into wide open without realizing it only to find out later my picture is mostly out of focus. If you happen to shoot something that is not moving and perhaps you are on a tripod, and you are certain you have the correct f-stop, then it gives good images. But for what I do, it just doesn't work.
5.0 out of 5 stars prime lens for price and new experience
If you want to discover something new, buy this Bright Star 50mm/F1.8 manual focus. I use this lens on my Canon EOS M6 mark II with an adapter. It gets some time to get used with a manual focus mode to shoot your favorite styels and scene. Because it has no image stabilization on the lens, you only use shutter speed 1/125 or 1/200 or above for handheld shots, otherwise using a tripod. You can try for portrait and ladnscape, depending on your choices. It is quite heavy, and look durable.
1.0 out of 5 stars Won’t focus sharply on distant objects.
I bought this lens specifically for fast (f/2) wide angle star scapes with my Canon M200 mirrorless camera.I wanted a fully manual lens so I could carefully adjust the focus and f/stop to optimize the pinpoint look of stars in starscape images. (Autofocus systems have trouble focusing on stars, and the manual over-rides often don’t work well.) At no point - near, at, or beyond the infinity position to the extreme limit - will the lens produce sharp pinpoint images of stars. Even distant trees remain slightly out of focus.Since this is a brand-new lens I will be returning it for a refund. I’ll look for a better-known brand of lens I can trust to perform properly.
5.0 out of 5 stars Slightly wider angle with good lighting
If you're looking for an affordable, slightly wider lens for your Sony ZV-E10, this is it! The lense is somewhat long. The images I've attached include a comparison of three different Brightin Star lenses compared to the 16-50mm lens that came with my Sony ZV-E10.
Me encanta
Nueva vida a mi cámara
My go to for aurora shots
I bought this to replace my previous wide angle lens after a falling tripod incedent. I wanted something for shooting northern lights and Milky Way scenes.I'm impressed with the combination of nice optics and quality build here, good contrast and colour rendition. Not quite perfect, stars near the edge of the field look a bit blobby when shooting wide open. Stopping down to F2.8 or F4 will help.Over all, I'm very pleased with my purchase.(Sony E mount)
