5.0 out of 5 stars Soft silver color
Yes, I have to resubmit this review. Something wasn’t approved in my last review anyway this color is not a silver as one may think it leaves your hair incredibly soft. I do like the quality of this color, but I did pre-lighten my hair to an ash blondish, which gave me a slightly yellow blonde from another company, then I colored with a soft silver and it gave me an ashy medium blonde as you can see in the pictures before that I had a Bronzie caramel color highlights pre-lighten them with a box color another company from another company as I said previous to a slightly yellow blonde because you can see my top is lighter Than the bottom of my hair, but it’s a nice ash natural color. It is not silver not at least if you have slightly yellow in your hair. I can only assume if you do have an original really silver base or assault and pepper natural gray hair you will definitely get closer results probably to the actual picture or if you really have very platinum hair, you probably will get this result, but on slightly yellow blonde bleached hair as far as I’ve tried to Tone it down and give it like a soft silver. It doesn’t really work like that. Also really great piece of advice. I have dark roots like a dark, medium brown naturally do not apply on your dark roots. It turned my roots bronze reddish. I didn’t know I didn’t think it was going to do anything to my roots. I didn’t think this color had any lift in it, but it does so do not apply it to your roots. If you do not want bronze roots, I had to redo my roots to tone them down with a dark blonde and then a light as brown, but overall would definitely use this color grade to tone hair does help with some toning down of yellow tones, but not the bronze

About 6 months ago, I got a buzz cut because I wanted to just let my hair be gray and didn't like the in-between stage of growing out colored hair with all gray roots. So, my hair was naturally gray but parts were white and other parts a bit darker gray. That was ok. But, then I started having problems with yellowing on my gray hair. Over months I had tried toners, blue shampoo, vinegar rinses, even kaolin clay. All of these only helped a little and the toners/blue shampoo also gave my hair a weird lavender color. I was getting frustrated.I'm so glad I finally just used this today! I love it!! I wouldn't say it's super light. On the other hand, it's not what I'd consider a dark gray. It is much lighter than model on the box (but, it probably depends on your natural starting color). The end result for me is it's an in-between silver. I does NOT make my hair look blue or lavender tinted at all - which I appreciate so much. Instead, my hair is just a pretty soft silver, and it left it in good condition. I will def use again!
5.0 out of 5 stars CLAIROL NICE ‘N EASY THE BEST!
I don’t like revealing my “secrets” because perhaps my products won’t be available or the prices will get crazy but like to share with my fellow ladies!I am still using Clairol Nice ‘n Easy Permanent hair color after 30 years.I tried L’Oreal and a few other brands and they all burned my scalp and I end up with blisters and burns on my scalp. The other brands like Garnier, Revlon and Schwartzkopf just don’t color enough or right for me or they destroy my hair.Nice ‘n Easy prices can’t be beat especially on sale or with subscribe & save.I switch between blonde colors in the 9, 10, and 11 permanent colors. I use the ultra light, ultra pale, palest natural, and extra light blondes in 9, 10 or 11 only. I never do golden or ash because then my hair turns red orange or green with the ash.I have hair down to my low back and I always switch the colors because it also leaves different blonde highlights and colors in my hair every time I do the roots! It looks great and I always get compliments. I am leaving it on for as much as 45 minutes now with those horrible grays that are popping up but Nice ‘n Easy covered them up! Take that!I use subscribe and save and I switch between the colors for the cheapest between 9, 10 and 11 blondes because they’re all great! WATCH YOUR MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION PRICES BECAUSE SOMETIMES IT TRIPLES$$$ FOR NO REASONEvery 2 - 3 weeks I do the roots and maybe every 3-4 months I might add it all over and/or the ends for 5 minutes only so I don’t dry my ends!I also order 2 to 3 per month at the cheapest price because it’s worth it just for the conditioner alone!I’ve seen the Nice N Easy Color Seal Conditioner sold by opportunists right here on Bolo for $22 per bottle! Forget about Ebay at $45 for two 1.86 oz tubes.Soooo definitely purchase Clairol Nice ‘n Easy Permanent Colors in ANY SHADE under $4 just for the CC+ (Color Conditioner +Seal)! Right? They are clear conditioners in the hair coloring box.SIDENOTES:I also add 5 drops per ounce of Ardell Red Corrector or Ardell Unred out drops occasionally to reduce any orange, red, or brasiness that sometimes occurs. I know people use the purple shampoos and all that expensive stuff $25+ for as small as 8 oz but for over 30 years I’ve been using Ardell drops that used to be $.99 a 1 oz bottle! Woohoo! Now it’s about $6 for .025oz or $9.99 - $12.99 for a 1 oz bottle. Watch your prices because a few months ago I found the Ardell 1 oz for $5.99 so I bought 4.They have also have single packs of .068 ounce of Ardell Unred for $.99 if you just want to try it.With the 1 oz bottles of Ardell Unred or Red/Gold Corrector you can add it to your shampoos and conditioners yourself and save alot of $$$..MORE NOTES:Every special occasion I use CHI Ionic Shine Shades 7I Dark Iridescent Blonde or even CHI Ionic Shine Shades 9I Light Iridescent Blonde with a 20 developer to add ever so light, pink, purple, opal like iridescence shine to my hair for an amazing vibrant color. I can’t explain it.It only lasts for a few shampoos so I only do it on special occasions and I don’t dry my hair out by over-processing. CHI just adds an amazing shine of colors to blonde hair. CHI also has a CHI Ionic Shine Shades CLEAR Iridescent color just to help seal and really shine hair.Happy coloring and STAY BEAUTIFUL!Anna

Color Fades
Very easy to apply, looked amazing the first two weeks. Immediately afterwards it began to fade and by the end of the third week I found out just how many grays I had. If you dye your hair more often than 2-3 weeks then go ahead and purchase. But if you have gray hair and dye every 5-6 weeks? Then it’s not for you.

Color washed off
My wife bought this product, her review:Don’t waste your money, the color washes off in a couple showers and doesn’t cover white hairs. Used as instructed in the box.
