5.0 out of 5 stars Inconspicuous and very easy to install
This is a really nice solution to the age old problem of routing cables around baseboards. My home is a single story, but in parts of it, there are vaulted ceilings with no attic access. So, routing cables through walls is very difficult and would require cutting drywall to do. So, for years, any time I had to make a significant change to my networking gear, I'd have to bust out the hammer and loads of nail in baseboard clips to re-route all of my cabling. This left the baseboards chewed up and turned a simply cable swap into hours of fuss.Just recently, I switched to Fiber internet and had to redo my router and modem setup. I also opted for gigabit service, so I wanted to upgrade my ethernet cabling. I pulled apart my office and after routing everything and testing, found that I had defective or deficient cables. Rather than go through the motions of redoing the same thing once more, I decided to go with a more serviceable solution. Enter this product.First, I will admit that I didn't use their double-sided tape. Over the years, I have seen similar cable management solutions that used it, and it just never ends well. Inevitably the tape breaks down or you want to change something and you'll find yourself needing to replace the tape. So, I opted to instead screw each track piece in. It mapped out the path and tried to make it as simple as possible. Though drilling pilot holes and screwing in the base pieces was tedious, it wasn't difficult and once they're in place - they are highly serviceable. The covers snap off easily and snap back on just as simply. Within an hour, I had laid everything out and was busy running my cables through it.The actual product looks great when installed along the baseboards. It just kind of blends in, so I have no intension of painting it. The materials seem solid. I even stepped on one piece by accident, and rather than shattering, it just kind of bent and was easy to bend back. I'm pleased with the variety of included parts and the hardware options provided. It accommodates several cords running in parallel, with ease. I'm confident that if I need to change cabling in the future, it will be a breeze. I'm very pleased!
5.0 out of 5 stars extremely adhesive
I was impressed, this stuff is very high quality, and EXTREMELY adhesive. Plus, the fit and finish is great, it's high enough quality that I've used it at home and it looks professionally installed.
4.0 out of 5 stars Not nearly long enough for anything,
...considering how many corner brackets you get. The problem is they don't seem to sell more just additional runners without needing to buy the whole kit again. At least none that I could find, and I scoured their seller page. Now I have to buy them elsewhere and hope they are compatible with this system.
5.0 out of 5 stars works great
I use this for most of my tv wall mount, and intrusive cable management solution after installations. CCTV, running a new surface duct or anything that requires concealing the cable for being exposed.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to Use
Love this product for hiding HDMI cording!
5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome
These are exactly what I needed. Much better than I expected. The adhesive tape actually sticks well to a stucco wall. They are quite soft and easy to use. Very easy to cut with scissors. Definitely recommended and I will purchase again.
5.0 out of 5 stars The cord cover is large enough to fit multiple cables
I bought this cord cover kit to hide the wires from my wall-mounted TV and soundbar. It was easy to install and use, and it looks great on my wall. The cord cover is large enough to fit multiple cables, and it comes with adhesive tape and screws for extra security. The white color matches my wall perfectly, but you can also paint it if you want. I’m very happy with this purchase and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to conceal their cords and improve their home decor.
3.0 out of 5 stars Works, but plastic is cheap quality and finish is lacking
Overall, this product does the job and functions as expected. However, the plastic quality is definitely on the lower end. While this makes it easy to cut, it also makes it easy to deform and stress. A clean cut is nearly impossible, as any force against the length of the plastic causes the plastic to rip or deform causing white stress marks. In the case of the black plastic, the white stress marks show up pretty easily (see attached photos). This can be addressed with paint or using the included couplers to cover up the ends, but depending on the number of cuts you'd have to make, you may not have enough couplers to cover up all the stressed/deformed ends. My set also came out of the packaging extremely dusty and dirty, as if the contents were left in the rain, then dried and packaged without any level of cleaning effort.
Yecaye Cable Concealer - very easy to install
I bought these channels a while ago and finally yesterday had a chance to install them.It was a project that I was afraid of since I was pulling and fishing Cat 6 and Cat 7 cables from the upper floor through the kitchen element above the kitchen hub. Hub exhaust duct was just centimeters away from my installation drill but with the help of an endoscope I made it. No major damage. Now, with this intro context out of the way, these channels were to cover up only parts where I couldn't go through the walls behind baseboard. Main goal was to hide only visible area where cables are passing through.Installation was really trivial. I decided not to drill them and affix them with screws (which are provided in the package) but instead I used double sticky tape (also provided). Therefore putting them together was a breeze. In the package you also get plastic covers that conceals a small gap where channels concatenate but given they were wide enough it gave me some room (approx 5 mm) to leave a larger gap which bridged couple of missing cm and totalled with exact length from kitchen counter to the ceiling. And then like that was not perfect ehough it also turned out that horizontal part was exact lenght to the kitchen elements. I couldn't believe that I didn’t need to cut anything at all. Straight from the box to the wall, no tailoring :-)OK I was lucky.Only thing you need to be aware of, although there is quite a bit of “L”, “T” and “I” pieces, there is only one/single “L” which allows you to go from vertical to horizontal position (by affixing base to ceiling). There is one more “L” piece but that one is for the base to be mounted on the wall (and side to ceiling), so just keep that in mind in case you'll need two corners like that. Check the picture in the upper/right corner to see which "L" piece I'm talking about.Final result? Amazing! I’m happy.Admit that on first glance you don’t even notice channels! Yet, they are there. And now I have network infrastructure for at least 10 Gbps (Cat 6) and +25 Gbps with Cat 7 cable in every room in the house.WiFi stays only for mobile and IoT devices. Now getting a router and switch with that bandwidth will require a mini-mortgage :-)Final verdict: 5 stars.
EXCELLENT hiding device!
Would highly recommend wrked like a dream zero visible cords!!!
Good for my project
Used for an extension cord because I didn't want to install an outlet. It's easier to cut with scissors rather that saw. Use pre-cut elbows to hide rough edges. I wish the package included more than 4 elbows.
As described
Easy to use. I managed ro hide quite a few cables. Easy to cut if you need to adjust the length. Comes with double table and screws so you have a choice for installation. Definitely recommend. It makes the are/place look neater
Perfect solution for a clean, cable-free look
I absolutely love these cable concealers! They do an outstanding job of hiding all of my cables, leaving my space looking incredibly clean and organized. The white color matches my walls perfectly, making them virtually invisible. If you're looking to tidy up your cables and enhance the appearance of your space, these concealers are a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!
