I have used stevia for years. Pure stevia alone is bitter and can leave an aftertaste. This product has a small amount of sugar that cuts the bitterness but helps to enhance the sweetness of the stevia. I have noticed many people making nasty comments because it has sugar in it. First of all they never read the ingredients or they would have known that before they purchased it. Second of all, it is a very small amount of sugar, less than 1 gram. This is a great product to use if you want to decrease your sugar consumption. Great taste too.

When I purchased these originally I only bought the 300packet box. When I ran out, I figured I'd try to replace it with stevia from my local grocery store. I tried to enjoy the flavor but I just couldn't. This specific style of Stevia in the raw is just so delicious with my iced brewed teas every morning. I bought the 800pack and haven't looked back at the grocery store one since. The crystals are larger and sweeter in my opinion. the individual packets makes it easy to get the same great flavor every time too. I take them anytime we go somewhere I think I might enjoy a tea with my meal.
