This thing is hefty. Beautifully made and definitely granite. Well polished and a good size for grinding egg shells for plant food. It's very good quality. Wish the pestil was a little longer, but that's more a personal preference.

I love this mortar and pestol so much! I use It every day to make saffron coffee. It’s tiny, super durable packs a big punch and is super easy to clean. It’s pretty heavyweight and super strong. Highly recommend. I find it does just as good of a job as the big ones! If you were planning on making guacamole in it though, I would say it’s too small. I would recommend using this one for nuts, grains, seeds and spices.

I like this product a lot because I don't have a lot of room on my stove or kitchen counter so the small size really works in my favor.The mortar and pestle set is very sturdy and does what it needs to do with minimal effort.The color and esthetic are also very nice and give the look of something priced way more than it is.I've had no problems cleaning the set and wipes clean every time.

I'm able to grind spices very easily with this. It isn't nonslip so I place a piece of drawer liner under it when using.The break in was easy and it cleans easily.
