5.0 out of 5 stars Literal game changer!!!
I bought these for myself and my daughters helmets. They are AMAZING! They're simple to install, easy to use, seem great on battery life, have good range, and are very crisp and clear.Im wondering if they can be used with corded headphones so I can use one without a helmet while my girls are riding around camp and I'm chillin' in a chair. 🤔This was a great purchase I'd highly recommend.
5.0 out of 5 stars Work well
Really good sound quality
3.0 out of 5 stars Good headset.. But.. they may have some old stock they are sending people
So I purchased mine in June, I received a unit that charges via 3.5mm headphone jack. My cousin was in the market for a comm unit.. I suggested this product.. he received his which has a type c port!! Which is far superior than 3.5mm jack.. if I lose my charge cable I'll never find another one.. where as I have type c cords all over my house!!
4.0 out of 5 stars Does not show the battery level
I have used it every weekend for courier work for approx. 2 months.Pros:- Loud speakers: for phone calls the maximum volume is even too loud in a city. My previous headset was a lot cheaper and I struggled to hear even in a downtown area at relatively slow speeds.- Great noise cancellation: the people who talked to me on the phone via the V6 could not hear that I was on a motorcycle (in a city, at speeds of up to 50 kph or 30 mph).- The speaker/charging port is more durable than the USB ones.- Good battery life, the battery lasts for days.- Good system to fix to a helmet.Cons:- It does not show the remaining battery level anywhere - not next to the bluetooth button, nor in a dedicated app (which does not exist). When the battery is low, it starts to say it via the speakers and the lower the level gets, the often it says it, starting from once an hour to every few minutes near 0%. If you have to continue using it for hours like this, it becomes very annoying and distracting.- It has an antenna which sometimes catches onto a jacket or something else.- It has a lot of small buttons. If you do not need pairing with other motorcyclists, it is too much work trying to remember which button does what at the beginning, but latter you learn to feel your way around them.I think it is good value for money if you need a basic headset just to make/receive calls and for navigation apps.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works way over the money.
Did not have much expectation, but wanted to test the convenience of this kind of devices to communicate with my son, who does not carry the phones while in the slope and staying all the time to be coached by me. The product was pretty satisfactory in price, connectivity, battery life, and durability. I will be able to use this one for the next ski season.
5.0 out of 5 stars Intercomunicadores con buena calidad
Producto con buen audio, excelente supresión de ruido exterior, acabado impecable.Muy recomendado para su precio
1.0 out of 5 stars Buy something better
Worked fine for the first month then feel like the quality dropped exponentially. Speaker audio sounds very muffled. Have one side louder than the other. The headset calling between other riders is awful and leaves us unable to hear each other at all. Bluetooth calling is a bit better but over time noticing a drastic decrease in audioWould recommend just buying a different one for a bit more for better and more consistent quality. Especially if you're using it to communicate with other riders.
2.0 out of 5 stars LEFT and RIGHT speakers are REVERSED. (If you think "well duh just reverse them" read on..)
1. What's Wrong?2. Why does it matter?3. Why can't you just reverse the speakers or the headset?----------------------------------------------------------- 1. What's Wrong? In short: the LEFT and RIGHT speakers are reversed.----------------------------------------------------------- 2. Why does it matter? There are several but here are my top 2: Reason 1:The big reason for a lot of folks: hearing loss and compensation. Today's mobile phones, tablets, etc. allow you to customize the sound sent to each ear (basically setting custom EQ for left and right ear, separately). This can make a world of difference! So when taking calls or listening to music in my helmet, the left and right need to be going to the correct ears or it makes everything sound much worse. Reason 2:How can I take this (or any other) brand seriously when they ship a stereo audio device with the LEFT and RIGHT speakers backwards?I mean, imagine buying a pair of earbuds, with the L/R output reversed... It's such a fundamental mistake that it's hard to imagine it could really happen. But it has happened -- *both* devices I received have the same reversed wiring....And even if the company corrects this mistake with a firmware patch (if it can even be updated...) or by shipping with corrected speakers, it's the kind of mistake that makes me think there have to be all kinds of other defects I'll uncover as I use the device over time. The idiom, "all bets are off," readily comes to mind.----------------------------------------------------------- 3. Why can't you just reverse the speakers or the headset?Communication units (including this one) are always mounted on the LEFT* side of the helmet. Then, you plug in a dongle that breaks out into 3 wires: LEFT speaker, RIGHT speaker, and MIC.All good so far, except that the wires for the LEFT and RIGHT speakers are different lengths:The "right" speaker has the long wire (it takes more wire to reach the right side of your helmet). The other one, with the short wire that can only reach the left side is... you guessed it... the "left" speaker. To be clear -- while one of the speakers has enough wire to reach either side of the helmet, the other one only has enough wire to reach the same side as the communication device (the left). But when you mount the speakers this way, the audio is reversed. And there's no way around this -- unless you like cutting and splicing wires. **---------------------------------------------------------- asterisks* They go on the left side of the helmet so you can access it with your left hand, as opposed to your BRAKE hand, which you don't want to be anywhere near your helmet when you need to apply emergency braking. ; ) Besides, sticking it on the wrong side would look ridiculous (backwards). And finally, with the antenna sticking out the wrong way, you'd see it as a visual distraction in your right peripheral vision.** Unless you are willing to cut the right speaker wire and splice on an additional 8 inches of wire.
Easy to use and great sound quality
Got the v4 plus because they can do up to 4 people who can talk at the same time. It's seamless to all talk together, no noisy background sounds (noise canceling is very good), just really clear, I'm really impressed. Range isn't amazing but it kept us in communication even when we were out of sight. Ive put them in motorcycle helmets and dirt bike helmets. I'm hoping to try adding them into ski helmets. Great way to feel close while riding different vehicules.
Me gustaron
