5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality
I have always owned a lined raincoat. The zipper broke in mine and couldn't find one. This one is heavier than my previous ones. It does keep the cool air from the rain off. Nice and cozy on a rainy fall day. Just hope it isn't too heavy for the spring rain. I wear it all year if not too cold out. Nice lining. Snaps and zipper closure. Fits to size. I wear a large blouse and have a large coat with room for a sweater if needed. Lined hood is nice too. Washable then hang to dry. Can easily be wiped clean. Rain slides right off. Great for the money too.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice quality
I was very reluctant to order this item since it's not a brand that I'm familiar with. I decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did:very nice quality, nice color, big pockets, hood fits great, adjustable waist and hood! Price was great too!It protects great from rain and wind (I tested it last week in a rain/hail storm), it is not too hot as I worried. Has plenty of room for a fleece jacket underneath. Do not size up in this jacket, has enough room to layer in your regular size.
5.0 out of 5 stars I love this coat
I bought this coat for a recent trip to Iceland, where the average temperature hovered around 50 degrees despite a record heatwave in the US. Given the cooler temperatures, frequent rainfall, and waterfall mist, I needed a coat that could keep me warm and dry. This coat exceeded my expectations. What I appreciated most was the length. Unlike many raincoats that are too short and leave your bum exposed, this coat provided ample coverage, so I rarely needed additional rain gear for my legs. The lining was soft and just the right weight, ensuring comfort without overheating. I opted for a size up to accommodate a wool sweater if necessary, but the coat's warmth and wind resistance were more than sufficient, even on a ferry boat in the open ocean. (The larger size was welcome because it allowed me to pull the sleeves down over my hands when needed.) The hood stayed on and was roomy enough to have a close-fitting fleece beanie on underneath. In windy conditions, the drawstring worked well. The numerous zippered pockets were a thoughtful feature, keeping my phone and wallet secure and dry. Additionally, the fabric felt durable and wasn’t the typical cheap, noisy nylon used in many rain jackets. Instead, it had a soft texture and dried quickly after a drenching rainfall. It has a sporty look (even on a chubby woman) that rivals more expensive brands. Overall, this coat was a fantastic investment and perfect for unpredictable weather conditions.
4.0 out of 5 stars Not really for Hippies!
Great for a slender figure, a bit tight in the hips if you are curvy. Im 5/1" at 156, 38C, and a classical hourglass figure. I ordered a large teal coat because, tho petite, I am a woman of hips. The coat came today and I love it! Its beautiful! Including the arms and hood, its fully lined all the way down with a medium thickness fleece. Two large inner pockets below the waist, so no concern for phone radiation near breasts. Two large outer slash pockets for a comfortable stance. Its 50 and windy today, quite chilly, so I wore it with a turtleneck and cardigan and was warm. Its really beautiful. BUT!! Its not made for a woman of hips. Comfy across a 38 C chest, just a bit long in arms so when driving, your wrists are still covered. The large is still tight around 49" hips so that the kick pleat in the back sticks out like a duck's tail! LOL! It comes down to knees, and has a two-way zipper for wearing comfortably in the car. Great for a slender figure. Im keeping it anyway, tho. Oh, and the hood is NOT removable. The hood does not have a firm bill over the forehead, nor a size adjustment velcro tab in the back, but has drawstrings in front. The hood is big enough to wear a stocking cap underneath. Very good looking coat, just too snug in the hips. No chance to test in rain yet, but its advertised as being waterPROOF! So no worries. Be sure to measure your sitting hips when choosing the size.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Weight Coat
This coat is lightweight, but it seems like it will be very warm without being too heavy. It dried quickly after I washed it and hung it up to dry. I love the green color. It’s a good color that will look clean for a long time. I love the two large pockets on the inside of the coat. I just wish that they had something like Velcro or a zipper to close the pocket so things don’t fall out when you turn your coat upside down. I love the soil of the coat. It would look good with a dress or jeans. The quality seems to be good. The fleece is thinner than what I expected, but it still seems to be warm. I guess I will find that out once I start wearing it in bad weather.
5.0 out of 5 stars Comfort and warmth!
Coat arrived yesterday just in time for very cold weather in N.C… I am very impressed with the comfort, quality, sizing, and styling of my coat! Very warm but not bulky! Very good choice! Yea!!
5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect rain coat!
This coat could not be better! It fits perfectly. I absolutely love the pockets on the inside and outside. The hood stays up in the wind, but isn't too bulky when down. I bought it for a trip to Ireland and wear it for all my son's sporting events. It is warm enough on those windy, rainy days, but still comfortable when it is warm and rainy out. Worth every single penny!
3.0 out of 5 stars The Good and challenges with this coat
The Good; nice fit, good coverage for neck and head area, nice length. Challenges; cheap zipper, pretty much doesn't work, thank goodness for the snaps, 50ish degrees felt the damp/cool, no insulation, wear a sweater underneath for warmth. But it's an inexpensive coat, so I'll spend more money the next time.
