Purchased as a birthday gift and was told by receiver that it was really nice. The fruit was very enjoyable, even the little ones liked the fruit.The folding basket/tray the fruit came on was a nice touch. I will definitely order an again to send not just for birthdays, but any occasion.

This was great. Fruit is flavorful and pretty. Basket/board is really nice. A great surprise for the price. Fruit is super sweet and colorful. The variety of the fruit and the fresh tastes make this a wonderful item. The fruits all taste fresh and sweet while being healthy since there's no aditives or extra sugars. Great surprise!!!

I was looking for a gift for family members that loves Pioneer Woman and other similar style/genre type of items. So this gift was perfect. I got size large. I think the photo speaks for itself. I recommend this gift!

overall, 3.5 to 4 stars. It's charming, even with its faults I would still consider this as a gift. Hence 4 stars.Lovely product. Fresh, soft, chewy fruit. well wrapped, nice box. Nice presentation. GIFT WORTHY! The addition of the apple shaped "tray" (not a tray, read more) that can turn into a basket is rather charming and really makes this product an eye catcher. I bought this for myself, but I would consider this as a gift for anyone, anytime.HOWEVER, know that the tray really doesnt work as a tray. I thought that if the apple shaped plastic tray was kept for use on top of the wood it would work as a tray. The wood itself doesnt really work because it isnt solid-- its all grooves. But when I fully unwrapped it (i hadmt at first), that is when I noticed that the "tray" doesnt stay solid, it immediately begins to turn into the basket. It doesnt lock into a tray. It can not be picked up for use as a tray. Too bad. (hence my edit, because I thought it would stay a tray).As for use as a basket-- doable, but had potential to tip. Not as in fall over, but the basket is on a slight swivel, and I can easily angle it down. Yet, all told, its cute, and I think anyone would like it. I really have no use for a basket. Had this been a workable tray, I would have loved this itemThe fruit: nice assortment, loads of apple rings. Some dry medjool dates. Would like to see pineapple. LOVE the mango. Pear is good. Lots of apricot. Couple items were hard to bite into. Still, for most part good.I dont rate on price, as I know prices fluctuate and people have their own budgets. But I comment. I was able to get this when it was $30, and I thought that was reasonable. In fact it was an impulse purchase for myself. Now (a few days later) that it is pushing $40 I dont think I would buy this again for myself or as gift. I think some stuff just has a sweet spot for pricing, and closer to $30 is likely it (for me).But that being said, I think it is a decent gift item. If buying for self, take note of what I said about using it as tray--wont happen.

I was innocently looking for dried fruit when I came across this item. It's too bad that other folks have had a negative experience with this product...when they get it right it's just wonderful. Other reviews that mention the sugary nature of the fruit are 100% on point...I would describe these as soft candied fruit. Now for the basket! It kind of reminds me of arts and crafts projects from camp, but far more refined and functional. It's truly awesome to unfold the tray and watch it become something else entirely. Note: Once you convert it to the basket, it pretty much becomes a slinky and ceases to function as a tray without something underneath it to give it some stability (if you intend to move it or pass it around). If you gently nudge each "ledge" of the basket downward you should ultimately be able to connect the pin at the bottom to the hole in the center piece. It took a bit of nudging and gentle bending (I think mine was slightly warped), but I eventually got it in there and it helped to make it more sturdy so worth the effort. I just love it! Immediately ordered another as a gift.

The fruit and the serving board and basket are nice. The first one we bought was for a gift and it was fine. However, we ordered a second one for a gift and the box it came in was in bad shape. I was going to return it and get another, but it was not available for return. So we decided we would keep it and order another. The next one came in a terrible box also! So we are going to have to put it in our own box and wrap it.I wanted to update this, but can't figure out how! The seller reached out to me and offered me a total refund, which was very nice! Like I said, the product was good, just couldn't give it as a gift in the damaged boxes.

I bought this as a xmas gift and it was used for entertaining. Everyone enjoyed very much and it stood out as a different kind of gift. The basket, when folded flat, is also a cutting board.
