For a fast sandwich or to spread on crackers this is pretty good. What I like to do is open the pouch, add a few extra ingredients (like a little more mayo, relish, a dab of mustard, that sort of thing), mix it up i the pouch and then scrape it out directly onto the bread. Not having a bowl to clean is the bomb. I guess you could do something similar with the plain tuna, too. I've enjoyed most of the varieties of this brand of pouched meat. Shelf-stable and takes up no room in the pantry. And you can hardly beat the price.

These will keep you out of the kitchen. Very simple to prepare for a sandwich or just eat with crackers. Fast and simple. Very fresh, very tasty the cost is reasonable.

This tuna salad is super excellent on sourdough bread. Another thing I like to do with it is put the tuna salad on the sourdough bread then layer cheddar cheese on top. Then melt the cheese in the microwave and it is great. A wonderful lunch you can even make in the break room at work.

I just made a sandwich with this. There was just the right amount for a sandwich and it was a good flavor. I did add a few shakes of pepper but that's just a personal preference. It's a good value.

We always pack a couple for trips. It is good emergency food. I don't take bread in my suitcase, but a small box of crackers works well. At home it is something really easy for my husband to use since it already has the mayonnaise in it, and he doesn't make a mess!

I purchased these as they are ready to eat, very portable and easy to use anywhere with no special opening utensils. With that in mind, these pouches meet those expectations.The issue is that while StarKist Ready-to-Eat Tuna Salad does not taste bad, it just isn't delicious.I really like tuna. I can eat it just plain or with a little salt and be happy with it, but if it is going to have other ingredients in it, they need to complement and enhance the tuna.One of the reasons I chose this product, outside of the portability, is that it has celery and water chestnuts so I thought it would have a bit of crunch, but it just isn't there. The combination of onion powder and mustard flour also sound like they would give the tuna salad a little pep, but no... It's pretty flat.I will say that the texture if you want a non crunchy tuna salad, is nice. The egg yolk and other wet ingredients are just enough to give the tuna a nice body, spread and mouth feel. The salad is not overly wet and definitely not dry in any way, shape or form. Just enough moist.For me I find that I need to take the product out, put it into another dish and start adding things to bring it up to where I would be happy enough to eat it. At that point I feel that it just isn't worth it as I would rather just make the tuna, at home, the way that I like it and find another portable method or just go with another food item all together.
Too much salt!
All you taste is the salt. Had a hard time getting through the whole pack.
