I must have almost 100 of these in various sizes. They last for ages, the lids seal tightly (although no, you don't want to turn them upside down) and both the containers and the lids survive a bazillion trips through the dishwasher. I do a lot of batch cooking and store things in a large freezer. Between the impermeable glass and the excellent seal on the lids, freezer burn and deterioration is a never. Now and then I find something that's 2 or 3 years old. It's always in perfect shape and tastes like it was frozen yesterday. They are also great for storing leftovers in the fridge. I label both the freezer stuff and the leftovers by sticking some masking tape on the lids and writing out the contents and date with a sharpie. Pro tip: fold over one end of the masking tape and it becomes a little handle for peeling off the tape when it's time to wash up. I learned that one working as a stagehand decades ago.

I love these Anchor Hocking glass food storage/serving bowls. They are great in the fridge (sturdy lids that fit), freezer, microwave and oven. Very easy to open the lids with the lip large enough to get ahold of. Will be purchasing additional bowls in the future.

These were shipped in an open box inside a plastic bag. I couldn't believe they arrived intact. Must be strong glass. The tops close tightly. Definitely need to be shipped differently.

So purchased a bunch of pyrex 4 cup bowls and 7 cup bowls for my pizza doughs... But after just a bit of time the lids started to not fit as well.. They would just pop off and the dough would be ruined.. I picked up 2, 4 pack of these anchor 4 cup bows and lids and they work great.. The lid seals SOOOOO much better.. Ill be sticking with anchor's from now on..

Love love these glass storage containers. I have many and use them daily. They remain nice and clear after washing in dishwasher and the covers are handy instead of using cling wrap or foil when putting in fridge. You can use in oven but this I have not done.

These glass storage dishes are sturdy and wash well in the dishwasher. The lids fit tightly and are easy to put on and remove and wash on the top shelf of the dishwasher. I have not tried holding them upside down to test how leakproof they are but they are great for my purposes of food storage using less plastic. Very pleased.

Using it very often to keep prepared breakfast in the fridge overnight then warming it up in the morning. I leave it on the kitchen counter for 10 minutes in the morning then good to go in the mini oven .It is glass so no chemicals in the food, tight closing cover, easy to clean, dishwasher safe.
Water tight
EDIT: I ordered more of this item and just like in other reviews they are not longer sending the lids that are advertised. They are not the TrueSeal lids. They are the flimsy plastic lids that are not water tight and break after a few uses. This is false advertising and a waste of time now that I have to send them back.These are my favourite anchor hocking food container type. Lids hold up

Solid with great lids
The first set arrived broken and chipped. A replacement set was sent and they are amazing!I love the lids! They are easy to put on and take off but very well made.
