Add lower back flare-up recently to a repertoire of musculoskeletal issues, and I decided to get a TENS unit for home use. My chiro uses TENS in his physio therapy and it does wonders. This unit does not disappoint. There are many great videos with this product, well worth reviewing, esp. if you're like me and hate reading manuals. Very nice that so many people are sharing their knowledge and experiences! The manual, however, is a worthy read (Yes, I did read it :); p. 18 has a great pictorial list of all the areas the unit can target; p. 25 lists areas you should not use the unit which, to me, is a critical bit of info!; troubleshooting pp. 26-29; symbol list, p. 30. This little manual covers all of this and much more! All in all, the unit is actually very intuitive to use! Many modes to choose from, and once you decide, hold down the middle button inside the mode, timer and intensity button, to lock in your preferences. Holding this button down again will release the lock so you can make changes.A few things to note: - Set up your pads before turning on the unit, then turn off before taking off the pads. You cannot charge while the unit is in use. It will automatically shut down, a great safety feature. - Be sure your skin is clean and dry. This will prolong the life of your pads. - I found my tendency is to want to pull the pads off after use using the cord side, and this is a bad idea. Peel off from one of the opposite corners. The pads are very sticky the first use. Repeated use will eventually wear off the sticky gel backing, at which time you get a new pad. There is a plastic electric pads holder, a very nice accessory! Rather than put the pads back on the plastic, put them on this plastic holder, making sure the cord does not get under the pad. There is room to store 4 pads, front and back, or a long pad per side. This unit, unlike many others, comes with 4 large pads, a nice benefit for targeting large areas. Once you adhere the pads to the plastic holder after use, put the holder inside the plastic bag it came in. This will also prolong the life of the pads. - One nice accessory not always available, is a plug to charge using a wall socket. Easy enough to use the USB plug on your computer as well. - The unit is Not touch-screen. I prefer this! - Go slowly increasing the intensity as it can become intense quickly and cause pain if you are not used to higher levels of pulsation and massage. My first use, I only used one tick up! - I have not had the unit long enough for this, but apparently the unit holds about a 10hr charge, so it should last a good while before a charge is needed. The longest one sitting use is 60 minutes, starting with 10 minutes and settings up 10 mins at a time from there. - The unit is small, lightweight, and comes with a nice carrying pouch.Here is a product page for replacement pads that I ordered, https://www.Bolo.com/dp/B0CPXRHGJ1.

I’ve taken a few months to get used to the device. The stickiness has yet to leave the pads after several uses in the process. The backplate is excellent for wrapping the cords around while storing the pads safely. I enjoy being able to set and lock each side to my personal preference. With having back issues, I usually leave both sides on the same setting and let it roll on my back for at least an hour. It is easy to set up the tens and place the head unit in your pocket while you move about your afternoon chores. I’ve had it in both my front and back pocket. It easily fits in the palm of my hand so fitting into most pockets is easy. I’ve yet to have to charge the unit after the initial charge. The battery life is fantastic! It is thinner than my phone when the wires are not wrapped around it. I have not tested the durability of the device other than using over several times over several months. It feels like it would survive a small drop quite easily. I am very happy with my purchase and will be purchasing additional pads as needed in the future.

My PT used a large TENS machine and recommended a small one for home. This has been perfect for relief of light aches and pains. i like that this comes with both small pads (and plenty of them) as well as larger pads. I stick the pads back on the plastic between sessions. The adhesiveness (not too sticky) has remained great. I'm pleased with all of the various settings/options as well. Battery life is amazing. Fully changed it upon arrival and have used it daily for a week on end and it still shows full.

Great variety of settings. Love that there are larger pads so you can treat bigger areas at one time. Having the ability to use four pads simultaneously really reduces the amount of time it takes to treat multiple areas. The pads have stayed sticky after multiple uses. The battery stays charged so much that I can use it for an hour and still not need to charge it for a week. Super portable, it easily fits in your pocket. The screen locks so you don’t have to worry about accidentally turning it off or changing a setting. It’s also very durable. I’ve already dropped it several times and it has help up beautifully! Definitely recommend!

Better than Dr. Ho
I used this as soon as I received it. I have in the past used Dr. Ho’s tens machine, this is so much better because I can use different modes on different areas. Different intensity and different modes is so much better. I have chronic pain from a neurological condition and the tens targets the pain where the pain is, and I take less medication and that is better for me.This machine is cheaper and better in so many ways. I would recommend this product to anyone who experiences daily chronic pain.I’m pretty happy with this purchase for so many reasons.
