REVIEW UPDATE!! Bald Eagle reached out immediately regarding my dissatisfaction, a refund was given and a new humidor. We now realize that our first order, we were sent a faulty unit, it was immediately obvious that this new unit had a very tight seal and closed tighter than the first unit that was sent. It is working perfectly, and the hygrometer is working perfect, something that is rare on a humidor. We purchased a digital hygrometer so we could compare the unit's hygrometer with the digital and Wow!! the unit's hygrometer is less than 1% different from the digital, I am really impressed. Our initial order resulted in a faulty unit, which lead to my review, but Bald Eagle fixed everything immediately!!! and now, well we will be buying again, not only is it a BEAUTIFUL unit, but it works great. A bad unit slipped through, but they fixed it so fast.... Thank you!!The craftsmanship is stunning and that was why we were drawn to the product! The hygrometer did not work in this unit, we purchased a digital to be sure. Completely faulty. The seal of this unit was not tight at all, the lid closed but you could see the gap, and therefore leaked, no matter what we tried the humidity never reached above 50%, proper seasoning, the unit's hygrometer, a reputable digital hygrometer, added the Boveda packs to give it a boost, and absolutely nothing. Then to add to our already disappointment, I requested a return with a refund, what's the point in getting a second unit, well guess what a second unit showed up. We are using our cheap humidor and it is working far better than this unit even came close too. Truly a disappointment.

It looks nice, and keeps the humidity level fairly well - part of that is likely just getting accustomed to how much water needs to be added to keep a good humidity level. Initially it did take me almost a week to get within the recommended humidity levels, but this is my first humidor, so very likely user error. I am sure ambient humidity is a big factor, too.It fits most cigars well, but 7 1/2” cigars will not fit with the humidifier placed vertically in the box, as it was shipped - it must be turned horizontal. Overall Internal dimensions are 8 1/4” L X 6 1/8” W X ~1 3/4” H. The humidifier is 6 1/8” L X 1 1/2” W X -1 1/8” H, so with it turned horizontally, usable internal width is only about 4 1/2”, but I don’t have many cigars, so it still works well for me.Seems to be well constructed, with a decent air-seal, with glass full length and width of the lid, with a good seal to the lid.For an occasional smoker, it seems to be a good price for size and quality. One of my friends that regularly smokes, and has several humidors, was also impressed by the quality to price and commented favorably on the air-seal, construction of the glass lid, overall construction, and its appearance.

September 3, 2024: Bald Eagle read my review and worked through troubleshooting steps. When none of the steps helped, the sent me a new, different but similar humidor that has proven to hold humidity. I’ve upgraded my review from one star to five and changed my in that I would recommend this company as they stand behind their products.While the exterior of the humidor is beautiful, after seasoning it for two weeks with two Boveda 84% relative humidity packs, it will still not hold humidity and I cannot get it to reach 68% - 72% humidity. As you can see in the picture the small round hygrometer reads 65% and my Sensor Push hygrometer reading is 65.6%. The highest I’ve been able to achieve is 65.7% and I’m using four Boveda 72% relative humidity 60 gram packets. Considering this I cannot recommend this humidor. I’ve temporarily moved my cigars to two Boveda humidor bags until I can acquire a new humidor.

Presentable, decently tight tolerances on the lid. Didn't think the thing was holding humidity at first when I put a fresh batch of cigars in, but I put plastic wrap over the opening and closed the lid on it until there was no drop in humidity (signifying that they were up to 72% and holding steady). At 62% outside humidity here, there's marginal drop inside if you take the little water-based humidifier disc out (so it's not completely airtight), but it stays steady with it in. The analog hygrometer sucks and doesn't seem to like calibration; if you dismantle it, you can slide the retaining ring around but the coil only operates within a limited range of a few percent so it's kind of useless outside of those bounds. I just threw a cheapo digital one that I got from a 6-pack on Bolo, the rest are for pipe tobacco jars. All in all, a fantastic humidor for the price, can't beat it.

Looks great. Glass top is a necessity in my opinion. Hygrometer is accurate which is a real plus. Seems to have a decent seal and is holding the humidity level for the past couple of weeks that I have had it.

I really like the look and finish of the product it the hygrometer is stuck at 60 for the past month. Not sure how to fix it.

Great quality and price! I bought this for my husband after a trip to Punta Cana! It is his first humidor. Only problem and major problem is that the digital reader is not displaying the humidity level in the humidor…can anyone offer any suggestions?UPDATE! Bald Eagles’s customer service is fantastic! Mila reached out to me right away. She was going to send a calibrated hygrometer until I discovered it was MY error! There is a plastic tag on the hygrometer inside of the box that needed to be pulled out. Once I pulled that tag out the hygrometer registered the humidity level! This company is highly recommended due to their product and exceptional customer service. And actually, the reviews of their customer service is what drove me to purchase this unit initially. I thought well…if I have an issue, it should get resolved. Sure enough! Mila was ready to take action and resolve the issue! Thank you BALD EAGLE!

Seems to have trouble holding humidity. Which is....kind of a problem for a humidor I suppose.
Looks great, however after three weeks seasoning with a full humidifier and dish of distilled water, humidity would not rise above 73%. Hoping that would be close enough to the right range, loaded the humidor and predictably saw a crash from 73% to 67%. Not too alarming, and tossed in a couple of 69% Boveda packs just to shore things up, closed it up tight and hoped for the best. 12 hours later and the meter is now reading 61% and still falling. Hoping that stabilizes, and will update if soEdit again - Wow. Bald Eagle reached out as soon as they saw the issue I was having and that they had missed my first email, walked me through bug testing to find the problem, isolated it to probably a faulty hydrometer (makes perfect sense as the meter has consistently read 56-59% ever since - so about 10% lower than the Boveda packs in there would suggest), and promised to get a calibrated meter to me right away. Shortly after, a larger-than-expected package arrived, containing a whole new humidor, with a new meter on the way as well. Once I connected with their customer care person, dealing with Bald Eagle has been an absolute joy - prompt, helpful, endlessly accommodating, responsive, and clearly they take the customer service side of the business and getting it right very seriously. Great company with amazing service, particularly as what we're talking about is a $50 wood box. Will be back for my next humidor (sadly I didn't listen to the adage "Nobody ever wished they bought a smaller humidor") without a single hesitation.
