I film planner videos. Everything is done on my desktop. I set up two lights on each side and have an LED workbench light above. This is great for each side to offset many of my shadows! I use the blue filter under the LED light because I love how bright it makes my creations look on camera. They're very easy to set up as well. There is a cap that comes off the bottom and three spokes come out for legs. The legs open up even wider to provide a solid base for the lamps. My only wish was that I could mount them but these work very well. The light is very bright and high quality. The pictures provided are what my desktop looks like at night. Just the LED light above on the left and then my LED light above plus the two lights on the side to offset any glare. Works perfectly! Great for filming desktop videos or videos where you use your hands in front. Also, great for using next to or shining into a lightbox of some sort. I absolutely love how compact these lights are as well. The legs fold right back up inside of the light and the lights are adjustable up and down and can be pretty compacted themselves. They come with a standard US plug each so you need two separate outlet inputs to plug them both in at the same time or an extension cord. Would definitely recommend!

I use these lamps for small product photography. The adjustable lamp and light bright options adds just the right amount of light to get rid of shadows. I like that they can be handheld to easily shine light from above an object. They also make a great desk lamp when put on a shelf above my desk.

Like these lights for ease of setup on small light box photos. Good for soft light. Filters work well although having to unscrew front for installation is a bit time-consuming. Overall pleased with product for the price.

I thought I'd write a review since I've been using these little guys for my cooking channel. You can see how they work in any of my videos at "Legends of Cookery" on YT. My lighting is these two lamps and my regular kitchen lights. I've not had to make any lighting fixes in IMovie, which I'm using to edit.First--when my order initially arrived, there was only one light inside the box. I returned the box and within a couple of days, I had my replacement. So, kudos for great customer service.As to how the lights actually work. I can't speak to how good they are on skin, because I use them on cooking videos but, for me, they were absolutely worth the price. Their light is brighter than I expected. In fact, sometimes, I shine them onto the ceiling and simply use the reflected light for a nicer tone. I haven't used any of the filters, because they don't seem to give me the bright quality that I want for my videos. The filters do work, though--I just don't use them.A small thing--I have dropped both lamps a good dozen times and they've managed to survive my clumsiness every time.Overall--I'd buy them again and I'd definitely use this vendor again.

I don't know why it's so hard to find LED mini spotlights. These are okay, plenty bright and with little clip-on color screens that give some amount of white balance control.However, they are quite light and tippy on their little built-in stands, and where the power cord goes in it tends to pull them over. So just be careful how you set them up. Also, there is no case for the light and all of its little accessory pieces, just the box.Better than nothing but I wish companies made decent consumer-grade tabletop spotlights. An essential for tabletop and food photography.

I had my eye on these, but ended up ordering a larger set because I wanted versatility, but they were just too bulky for my purpose. Since the price point is reasonable, I didn't mind adding them to my collection and they work for tabletop videoing perfectly!

Great little lights for product photography
I bought these to use for extra lighting with product photography. I have used them about 6 times and they work perfectly and are quite bright.

There are better options out there
It's not bad, but the filter don't really do anything, and there's only one of each filter but there's 2 lights...weird.As others has said, the light is way too bright and without a dimming feature, it's hard to get the right lighting for your photos.Edit: So it turns out it was supposed to come with 2 of each colored filters. I contacted the company and they actually sent me a brand new pair of lights with the correct amount of filters hence the increase in my rating. Very good customer service.
