After reading numerous reviews on many docking stations, I decided to go with this one to replace an older one when I redid the office setup. It works as advertised. Has many ports for devices. Is flat instead of upright. Plug and Play. No other software was needed upon installation.Have not had any issues to date.

This is a good unit for my Dell laptop, works well in a multi-monitor setup. However if you have a lot of USBC devices you will need adapters to make them work, otherwise great unit!

UpdateAfter having online chat with Wavlink website customer service, a replacement was sent to me on the next day. I am impressed with their dedication to customer satisfaction.——————The official website indicates that the power adaptor of this docking station should be 20V/2A, but what was in the delivered package was a 20/1.2A power adaptor, which could provide significantly lower wattage. After 6 weeks of use, now the docking station is dead.

I initially gave this product five stars, but after six months have reduced it to four. For some reason this dock conflicts with my Dell 7760. The display ports still work. I have virtually every USB port on this docking engaged and it carries them all with no hassles. Sometimes, when you hook a docking station to a USB hub which then, in turn, is connected to a number of USB devices. the combined system does not work well. Not always the best response for a mouse and keyboard through this hub. I have taken to connecting the mouse directly to the computer

I bought this as my 2nd try for a USB hub that said it was compatible with HP laptop, but it did not work. I tried every fix from online and YouTube and even HP.com. Nothing worked.So it doesn’t matter what the product says it can do if it won’t work with the computer — it becomes worthless.

Dockingstation mit USB 3.0
Funktioniert tadellos (z.B. Anschluss mehrerer Monitore mit Erweiterung statt nur Spiegeln). Wer statt USB-C auf eine Dockingstation mit USB 3.0 angewiesen ist, dem kann ich das Gerät nur empfehlen.

I have been looking for a docking station for my MacBook Pro M2 which works with DisplayLink. This dock worked absolutely well. It was truly a plug and play since I already had displaylink installed. I am able to connect two external monitors in extended mode on my Mac now. The box contained all the needed converters as well along with Dock. DVI to VGA, DVI to HDMI and Type c to USB.
Nunca más problemas de puertos y líos de cables
Compré este dock para varios motivos. Tengo un Macbook pro (M2 - 2022) lo cual solo tiene 2 puertos Type C (el ordenador no lo recomiendo si lo usas para trabajar y no te lo llevas mucho) Entonces me faltaban muchos puertos para teclado, ratón, webcam, 2 SSD Externos, Ethernet, y sobre todo para poder conectar 2 pantallas externas, ya que lo uso para trabajar. COn este dock resuelvo todo los problemas. La gestión de las dos pantallas se hace a través de un software DisplayLink manager, yo no lo sabía, pero es super sencillo de instalar y te permite también trabajar con el ordenador cerrado usando solo las pantallas externas (se que esto es lo que quieran hacer mucha gente y no tengas que abrir y cerrar cada vez). Lo unico es que no carga directamente, pero bueno, por mi no era un problema. Recomiendo 100%

Expensive device but definitely the best solution for multiple screen issues found with the new macbooks.Super easy to install, just plug all your devices to the deck and connect the deck to your machine. You have the option to connect to your machine via USB or USB type C. Versatile and practical.For better use you need to install the display link app on your laptop. Once this is installed and detects the deck your laptop will be able to share with 2 external monitor while preserving the independent visualization on each screen. No delays and no issues with image clarity.This was the only solution for M1 chip macs that wont display in multiple screens. The one thing to note is that video streaming is no supported with safari when in this sharing mode. However, if you change and use firefox for the streaming the problem is solved and you can keep all your screens plus your streaming or live tv.Totally worth the price. The keyboard works smooth and same the mouse. Now everything is connected to the deck which leaves one of the usb type c ports free to charge your laptop.
