To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I should've read the reviews closer because like many others, this ring was destroyed within 5 minutes of giving it to my 10 month old boxer. Granted, it isnt advertised as a chew toy, but I relied upon the Chuck-it Brand to be durable & well loved as everything we've bought in this brand in the past decade has been durable & the ONLY toys that have withstood my heavy chewers. Balls? Yep! Had some of the same ones for 5+ years & heavily chomped on. We only need to buy more when they're lost in the yard. Fetch stick? Yep! Well loved & tugged over daily with both a boxer & pitt mix. Ring..? Sadly it met its quick death within 5 minutes of delivery.Wasted my money there but you live, you learn.

This was not good for either of our dogs. They did not enjoy it and it did not bounce around like advertised.. However, it was sturdy and well made... looked to be a long-lasting toy.

My border collie lives to jump a catch the chuckit orange balls. But every now and then we play with this ring instead. It is durable like most chuckit products and she hasn’t been able to chew it up yet.
5.0 out of 5 stars Our high energy dog's favorite
This is an integral part of our shepard/collie's daily routine. Collie's in particular are very focused, and are workers needing a ridiculous amount of exercise. Our nearly 3 year old has been using this twice a day, just about every day to get her energy out. Every 4-6 months we purchase a new ring as an old ring gets partly chewed, worn out, or lost but the wand typically outlasts the rings so this is where we buy them. In winter snow we have to transition to the chuck-it flying squirrel as this ring gets buried and lost in the powder. While I do wish she liked the tennis ball version more as that product is much more readily available (and you can sub actual tennis balls when needed), this one has some advantages. First, it is heavier than the ball. You can therefore put more effort into throwing it and get 50 yard tosses if you choose. Go easy though - I got tennis elbow from this thing. But that is probably due more to the twice daily 30+minute sessions with little breaks (this dog just keeps going!). Second, You can bounce and roll it higher and further than the ball too. My goal is to toss it up reasonably high and far enough that my dog catches it on the first or second bounce. She loves to catch it in the air but a quick inspection of her teeth tell me that's not a good idea (all of her 4 canine teeth are missing a little bit of them). Maybe I should ding this product one star for that, but my dog insists that it is a 5 star product. Lastly, it is heavier than the ball so be careful throwing it near buildings. I haven't broken any windows with this but there have been a couple close calls.

Me & the dogs love this brand but sadly this toy didn't win them over. it doesn't squeak and they lost interest in the toy real fast.it does float in the pool so we do play with it when bobbing for toys in the pool.

The media could not be loaded. This is our dogs favorite toy for fetch. She's obsessed with it. It's really fun to throw because it rolls and bounces a bit. It is not good for chewing at all. If she decides to chew it up, it's gone within a few minutes, compelling into bits. A+ for fetch, F for chewing!

I didn't have high hopes for this toy. My dog can destroy the most sturdy of toys, but since his chuck-it balls last a long time, I tried this. It's still going strong after many weeks and much chewing. Probably, this would get hit harder if we didn't keep the dogs supplied with many Chuck-it balls to squish, but as it is, it's sturdy enough that I feel confident my mega-chewer won't swallow bits of it whole while I'm working.

I had two of these for my Brittany spaniels. Both destroyed within 15 minutes. The squeaker came out immediately. I get the balls they hold up but stop squeaking almost immediately with the chuck it launcher when they retrieve the balls. Waste of money
My French bulldog loves it!
This is our second chuck it ring, my dog made a small tear in the first one after 3 years of extremely aggressive play. Toys with him typically don’t last 3 days let alone years so I bought a replacement and he loves it as much as the first one!
