5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite honey for the money! Nate's Georgia 100% Pure, Raw & Unfiltered Honey
Nate's Georgia Honey boasts a reputation for purity and taste, offering a 32oz squeeze bottle of 100% raw and unfiltered honey. Here's a breakdown of the potential pros and cons to help you decide if it's the right honey for you: Pros:Pure and Raw: This honey is minimally processed, meaning it retains more natural vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants compared to some filtered honey varieties.Unfiltered: Unfiltered honey contains pollen, which some believe offers additional health benefits.Award-Winning Taste: Many users report that Nate's Honey has a delicious flavor, making it a great substitute for refined sugar.Large Size and Squeeze Bottle: The 32oz size is ideal for frequent honey users, and the squeeze bottle allows for easy dispensing. Cons:Potential for Crystallization: Raw honey naturally crystallizes over time. While this doesn't affect its quality, it can be inconvenient.Limited Source Information: Where exactly in Georgia the honey comes from isn't readily available on the product description.Price: Raw honey can be more expensive than filtered varieties. Overall: Nate's Georgia Honey is a solid choice for those seeking a pure, raw, and flavorful honey. The large size, squeeze bottle, and positive user reviews regarding taste make it convenient and potentially delicious. Here are some additional considerations:Raw vs. Pasteurized Honey: Raw honey may contain beneficial bacteria, but it's not recommended for infants or people with compromised immune systems. Pasteurized honey eliminates this risk.Crystallization: If crystallization is a concern, consider buying smaller quantities or storing your honey at room temperature.Local Honey: If supporting local beekeepers is important to you, look for honey sourced from your area. Recommendation: If you're looking for a versatile, pure, and delicious honey for everyday use, Nate's Georgia Honey is a strong contender. But keep in mind the potential for crystallization and consider your budget and preferences for raw vs. pasteurized honey.
5.0 out of 5 stars This is the taste of honey from my childhood
All these years and so many different and exotic honeys and finally this is that taste I remember from my childhood. Has an almost indescribable dark-deep taste to it like cooked sugar, it's not quite caramel but deeper than most honeys. This is exactly the taste I would get when growing up if I ever got honey and it was everywhere when I was growing up. This is exactly what the taste then I think of honey. Not too sweet, can even have a bit of a sourness to the aftertaste but not unpleasant. It's probably been almost 35 years since I've found this flavor again. And boy have I tried so many different brands from all over the US and other parts of the globe. This must be a regional thing as I noticed in some of the negative comments that it was either too runny or tasted like it was burnt. But if they are tasting the same honey, this is exactly what honey was decades ago for me in the mid-west, after artificial sweeteners took over and artificial honey become widespread and years later when natural honey again became popular I had not found even one local honey that had this taste profile. So for some this might be bad honey, but for me it's 32oz of pure nostalgia.
