I gave him 1/4 first to see how strong it was but it did not work. The second day I gave him 1/2 the tablet 30 min before going to bed and he immediately fell asleep.he is about 10 lb and a 3 month old puppy.But today he woke up vomiting a little bit I’m not sure if it’s because of that but I will keep an eye on him just to make sure it’s because of the tablets
5.0 out of 5 stars My very hyper rescue dog is finally calm
I have a 2.5 year old rescue lab mix that had some abuse in his early months. He has always been very hyperactive and not able to calm himself. Vet had him on two different meds, which had some unwanted side effects, so I worked with the vet to wean him off the meds. I started these calming chews about two weeks after completely off of meds. I am amazed at the results. It recommends 2 chews for his weight class, but I wanted to try it out with him, so I'm only giving him one chew in the morning. He has calmed down so much and is able to listen better. He still likes to run and play, but he's not constantly darting about everywhere. He's better with following commands now, too. He was always waking up hyper at 2 or 3 AM and now he's sleeping better. The only advice I would offer is to give the chews after the dog has eaten and not on an empty stomach. I hope they continue to work well with him. He's a good dog, very sweet and lovable, he just couldn't calm down. I'm so glad I found these chews.

Doesn't work well for my dog but works well for her brother and mama. My girls is over 80 lbs. First, she was a booger about eating it but after some coercing, she ate all 4. didn't make her tired and she still got car sick. might need to up her dose since her brother and mama did well with them and it helped them.

These are helpful but they are pretty strong. My 80lb Lab uses 1-2; 2-3 cause loose stools for her for some reason.

Wow, I was so skeptical to try anything like this, but my male toy poodle puppy reminds me of a chinchilla bouncing off the side of walls.. he’s still young but wow, I knew I was in over my head by the first 2-3 weeks adopting him. I saw this specific product posted on reddit (was not an ad) and then did some additional non-bias based research and decided to try. I’d say it took about 45-60 minutes to really kick in, but like I mentioned, my puppy is Literally nuts, and I was not confident anything would mellow him out aside from pharmaceutical and/or street drugs or maybe even a combo of both. So, these provisions were met with a sigh of relief and satisfaction. This made him so sleeeepy, but not in a d***ged out way. He was definitely ready to nap the day away, but if i engaged with him, called his name, etc., he was alert immediately. I hope this helps for other worried dog moms/zads. For reference, my son is 8.5 months old and 12lbs

When we adopted out Border Collie we were given anti anxiety medication for her. She has a fear of loud fireworks, and at times when the damn train conductor goes by our development lays on the horn for no reason other than having the power of blowing it however he wants! Our poor dog is also terrified of thunder. We have taken her off her anti anxiety meds and only use them sparingly. We give her two of these chews every night and it calms her down enough to rest and sleep.

PLEASE BUY THIS!!!! I wrote such a long detailed review and when I went to take a picture of my dog my review disappeared ,too much to rewrite! I have a very hyper,agile,alert,smart,barking dog. I honestly can’t tell you in almost 8 years when he sleeps!!!! I’m old(45),his mom is old(almost 20) and we need some safe peace around here 🤣🤣😂😂!! I’ve spent so much money looking for something that would have this effect on him. This is the only thing that has worked,yes it works people 👌🏾!! I tossed two on his bed after they had breakfast. He sniffed them for about 15 minutes which made me nervous,they don’t smell the best! He ate them!! I’ve never been able to get anything done without having to fuss at him to stay out the way or stop bothering stuff and stop barking,he barks at us….the only family he has ever known! If I drop my phone in front of him he’ll bark at me! His job is to watch me,he employed himself this position 😂! Whenever I get up in the middle of the night,whenever I take a peep over my bed he is looking back! 🤷🏽♀️ he’s the only fur baby I’ve had with this behavior,but we love him!! Two hours later he is crashed out on his bed with all fours up,that’s how he’s comfortable I guess. Always lay like this,just never closes his eyes 😂! I’m able to do some house chores on my day off without him being my shadow. I am so happy! The whole house is happy! He’s very smart so if he catches on to everytime I give him his “new treat” it makes him different I’ll coat them with some peanut butter! The benefits of being a Prime member had my delivery here while it was still dark out this morning and I placed the order after 8 lastnight. I am overly pleased with this. I went in with the two initially just because I know my dog and I was confident one wouldn’t do it. Great product! Sorry,I’m scared to take a pic again and yes the first review that disappeared was much longer than this one 😬!! Update:he caught on 🤣🤣 That’s okay because I crumble them in his food now and mix it really well with the wet food. I don’t give them to him everyday,just when I feel he really need them,but yes I’m very satisfied because they’re still very effective!!

My T1D Service Dog has been with me 24/7 since 4/17. He went ballistics when the vet tech tried to take him in their back room. I bought these based on reviews and worked with a neighbor to train for separation. First day 1 chew for 1 hour with muzzle on. Whined the whole time. Second day 2 chews for 2 hours. No whining but wiggled the muzzle off. Third day 3 chews for 3 hours. Stayed perfectly on his bed with muzzle on and no whining. I had cataract surgery yesterday and he was perfect with my neighbor in the waiting room. I am so glad that I found these. My dog refused to chew them, so I forced him to swallow. I have a new tool now for those medical procedures where even a Service Dog is not allowed. Worth every penny. The recommended dose for my dog's size was 2, but he needed 3 for this scenerio.

Tried them out on our 11lb. chihuahua and he mellowed out about an hour later. We only used half a pill and that worked. He wasn’t so hyper during the car ride. Update: This dose stopped working even though we only use it once per week, so we upped it to 2 pills ( I won’t go any higher). Hopefully he will learn to relax on his own and then I can reduce the dose again.
Calming tablets
I was alittle on the fence about this but I am going to say that I was so happy that I went ahead and ordered these for my Boy Diesel. He is almost 5 months old and he has a little bit of Separation Anxiety and his Crate!! I don't know why he's so feared about it but it's coming along. Slowly he is warming up to his Safe Place. He has been in a board and Train Foundation for 2 weeks and I am going to say that he has been in the crate more than I put him in. I have to admit that I don't put him in his crate when I am not going anywhere but I have been trying to make that happen for a while because we both need a time out!! He has me wrapped around his paw lol Highly Recommend these for all puppers that need some calming time.
