It worked well, had everything I needed and was relatively easy to use. The angle I had to work with plus I am probably not as strong as I’d like to be, made it a little challenging to use- but I prevailed and it has been holding up great!

This tire repair kit comes in a convenient and durable box, neatly organized nest for major items.The overall quality is marginal but good enough for occasional tire plug job. Most kits come with a tubecement that dries out or leaks over time. Here, this kit provides a lubricant, instead of cement to alloweasier insertion of the plug into the hole. I think this is a good alternative but I still prefer to use a rubbercement for the job. Overall decent tire plug set for the price.Edit: In use, the spiral shaped reamer is pretty dull and does not help at all with expanding and smoothingout the hole in preparation for plugging the hole. Problem is pervasive that a lot of kits on the markethave similarly near useless dull, spiral reamers in their kits. Slime brand has some plug kits that comewith file-like reamers that are more useful. I personally use a reamer drill bit on a cordless drill to boreout the hole prior to plugging the tire.

A while back, months ago, I was driving around with a nail in a tire hoping to find a matching tire since it was only slowly losing air and I have a pump in the car. My "self-sealing" tires are pricey, hard to find, and unlikely to be effective in the spot where my nail was.BUT, I figured it would be worth $25 to see if one of these kits might work. The reviews on this particular kit helped me decide on it.I was skeptical it would work in the spot with the nail since the "self-seal" tire feature was out of its rather small area of effectiveness. This kit worked exactly as promised, though, and months later, basically the same scenario happened AGAIN (ugh... But... PHEW!). Saved me at least $500 already. I decided to buy one for my brother as a gift and one for my spouse who would need me to drive to wherever something might happen to her tires if she doesn't have her own.Two of the steps of the process do require some "umph," though... Step 2, where you use the spiral probe tool to enlarge the puncture (this is where you need the "Umph" because you have to jam that thing in and out of the tire a couple of times) for the tire to be able to accept the plugging tool... And step 5, where you retain the repair plugs firmly to the tire, and quickly and firmly (some more umph) pull the T handle up leaving the plug in the tire.Such a great product! I've purchased three now (and the other two are not replacing some broken first item but rather are gifts for others because it's awesome)! Go for it if you need one of these.

Affordable and easy to use tire repair kit
On a road trip lately and I have to call the tow truck due to punctures, this kit would have been incredibly useful to get me to the repair shop if I have it with me.The tool box contains everything you would need to stop or slow down tire leaks. It even includes the tire tread depth gauge. This is a great tool for preventative maintenance and will give you an idea when it's time to change your tires.Overall, this is a great quality kit for fast repairs and the price is reasonable.
