Just to save some people time, if you've correctly setup the card and your vita, but it still isn't working, there's a chance that the sd2vita itself is faulty. Double and triple check you've done everything from your side before suspecting sd2vita. I opened mine up after trying multiple sd cards and found that 2 of the pins inside of the sd2vita were broken, and therefore could not read the sd card. The sd2vita is cheap enough I just ordered a couple more and will test them out once they arrive.After some searching on this internet, this poor quality control seems to be common with these 5.0 revisions. When you insert the sd card, be gentle, since the pins inside the sd2vita are very fragile, and are prone to bending/breaking. This is made more difficult because the sd card fits super tight. So once you format your sd card and slide it into the sd2vita, I would probably try not to take it out.Will update the review once I get another batch.UPDATE:I ordered another sd2vita (same seller), and very gently inserted my micro SD card, and everything seems to be working just fine. When inserting, I made sure to do it very slowly, so as not to bend/break the pins inside of the sd2vita.So now the card is working as advertised. Now that the micro SD is in there, I just update the card via USB through the vita, since reinserting the micro SD would be too risky.I felt that 5 stars would be too generous (b/c of the obvious quality control issues seen by myself and others online), but since vita memory cards are prohibitively expensive, there is just no viable alternative. Also, since these are cheap, if it's defective (or eventually just breaks on you), it's easy enough to just rebuy it. So 4 stars it is.

Its basically an adapter to put an micro sdcard into and use it as your Playstation Vita’s Main storage instead of the proprietary overpriced memory cards. But be sure to jailbreak your vita for it to work, lots of good tutorials online.
