The media could not be loaded. I bought this bamboo steamer for myself, it’s small. It has two tiers. You can fit dumplings and small steam buns. It’s a personal size or for two people depending on the size of dumplings or buns you make or buy. Small, but enough for me and for storing, since I do not have a lot of cabinet space. I store it inside my large wok. I like it. Works well. Easy to clean. So far I am satisfied. I would recommend this product. If you plan on making a large amount, invest in the bigger size steamer. Good buy.

I was skeptical buying this product because I have been doing a LOT of quarantine shopping and I has never used a steamer before. I had originally ordered a 12" steamer, but it was too large for any of my pots, so I returned that one and got this one. It was really small, like smaller then that I had expected. See picture. It's not a full 6 inches more like 5 1/2 inches. But, I still tried it out. It was easy to use. I used a sauce pan with 1 1/2 inches of water. I really enjoyed making dumplings and it really is my new favorite thing... I also just bought a pie pan so we'll see how long this will last. Overall, this is a really good product and I enjoyed using the streamer. ONLY PROBLEM - there was ALOT of splinters in the wood on the sides but mainly in the lid but it was easy to pull off with my fingers.

If you only use one tier, it will be able to fit with the main lid closed. If you use both tiers, it will be too tall and will keep the lid open, however it's not too much trouble – I just drape a clean towel over the cooker to keep the steam in as much as I can.

So like most things in life, 6 inches is not enough. This was completely my fault. I planned to make my very first Bao Buns for my family of 4. This steamer worker great, downside is I could only steam four buns at a time. Getting through large batch of dough took a long time. This would be perfect for a single or duo. If you’re planning to use it for a larger group or party you may want to size up.

Quality looks and feel durable. Works great! We've used it for steaming buns and dumplings and it came out perfect.. also appreciate that it comes with parchment liners. I would highly recommend this product 👌

Unfortunately what arrived is not what is pictured. The listing, and even the box, says it’s a three piece steamer, but only 1 steamer piece and lid arrived.
