5.0 out of 5 stars Keeps Bugs Off!

It makes mowing the lawn a really unpleasant chore - fighting off those little buggers (their bites are VERY annoying and the itching takes weeks to go away!) is a pain. So I thought I'd give this mesh headgear a try. It works wonders! I wear a baseball cap to keep the sun off my balding head, and noise reducing headphones while I mow, and this mesh headgear easily fits right over both and covers my bare face and neck right down to my shoulders. It's lightweight and stays in place and is easily removable. It comes with a small storage pouch that will easily fit into my pocket when not in use, and I put it in a mesh bag to launder. The gnats still buzz around, and even land on the mesh headgear, but I don't get bit anymore! Hooray!
5.0 out of 5 stars Very fine, big, breathable
We suffered from the attacks from Midges when we were at Fair pool in Scotland so we decided to look for some very fine mosquito nets. I just received them, they are very fine, big enough for my wide rim hiking hats and of course we can still breath freely. This set also comes with 3 cute carrying pouches for protection and for our convenience. How nice! Happy for the purchase!
4.0 out of 5 stars Works well but limits visibility in bright sun
My next door neighbors have a row of tall messy cypresses that constantly little my yard. I've been cutting back branches on my side and they are always full of dead debris that rains down on me. I used these to help keep the debris from getting onto and into my eyes/nose/ears/mouth. Perhaps if I had a wider brim hat this would not be a problem, but I didn't, and as it was a bright sunny day the light refracted off the netting, making it difficult for me to see what I was doing. Guess I'll go back to a helmet and visor. These would probably work well when hiking through areas of gnats and other flying insects that tend to circle around my face. I plan to try them out in other situations, after which I may revise my review.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for bug protection
We used the mosquito mesh nets while on our vacation to Australia. There are certain areas there that have issues with gnats and sand flies. The mesh nets were great and protected our faces from the bugs. We have decided to travel with these all the time now, because folded up they are small and don't take a lot of space in the suitcase. My sister said she was going to use the net for when she mows her grass this summer. The nets were really effective.
5.0 out of 5 stars If you already have a favorite hat, this is all you need.
Keep all those nasty biting bugs, even tiny No-Seeums Away ! The tight dark mesh is nearly invisible while wearing & offers perfect protection. Large enough diameter to fit over a typical hat & long enough to provide protection even while working. Handy little pouch keeps it close at hand when not in use. Highly Recommend !
5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome netting. Fine mesh. No visibility issues
Works really well. But a few things you should know. Get the dark color because if you get white, it’ll be so difficult to see due to glare. I knew this because I had white mesh in the past. You should always wear a hat with a brim 360 degrees. The purpose of this is to not allow the mesh to touch any part of your skin. If the mesh touches your skin, the mosquitos and yellowjackets/wasps/hornets can easily touch your skin too. The top portion of the netting/mesh is smaller than I expected. I usually wear a fishing hat with a pretty decent size brim because I want the netting to be as far away from my skin as possible, but because the top portion of the netting is smaller than I like, it takes up a lot of slack, making the lower portion with the draw string pull higher than I like. It still works great mind you, but I prefer the top to be wider and the netting to be a few inches longer. I tested it fishing and it did work as expected. Zero bites to my head/face/neck area. Because of that, I’ll still give it 5 stars, especially when you get three of these (with a little carry pouch) for $10.
3.0 out of 5 stars Kinda hard to see through
Keeps gnats off good, but is hard to see through sometimes
5.0 out of 5 stars Rain, Constant Heat and Humidity, Gnats, Mosquitos, Biting Yellow Flies
Hot and humid Southwest Florida, high heat and humidity virtually all year. That type of climate, which is subtropical, is perfect for bugs. And boy, do we have them. I looked at a few hats with mosquito netting added to it but realized that I couldn't get the total head and neck coverage I needed for proper UPF sun protection.Since I just had a melanoma removed from my back (with surgery including 56 stitches), I'm very careful about what I wear in the sun when working on our landscaping. I couldn't find beekeepers' hats which provided both UPF 50 in the hat as well as side and back flaps to protect my neck. So I quickly realized that the solution was to buy the netting separate and simply use it over the proper sun protection hats that I already had.I ordered this triple pack of mosquito head netting for a number of reasons. They are economical, well-built, are loose fitting, are a very neutral khaki color, and have a very tight mesh to protect against the tiniest buggers. The khaki color does not absorb heat from the sun and is easy to see through. Since our Florida yellow flies are attracted to dark colors, khaki is the way to go.
Very good product.

Highly recommend !
Head net
These head coverings are superb when the Scottish midges are out in force these head coverings are an absolute necessity
