Great little candy dish. I use it to keep pieces of my dark chocolate inside. It holds a little over a cup. Thick glass, no imperfections, and the top comes on and off easily with the pleasant clinky sound of glass. I got the purple, which is about 90% fully opaque (very dark, really can't tell what's inside). Great quality, it should last many years! Great gift idea for anyone.

This is such a cute candy dish. And I really love the color too. The dish I got, is the blue one. I'm not sure if the picture picks up as much of the color as I see in person. It has just enough color that you can tell that it's like a turquoise blue, but it's also transparent so I can see the candy through the dish.I was looking for a candy dish that was small but he had a lid so that we could put things like jellybeans in it that were not wrapped. I wanted the lid to help keep the moisture out etc.This little dish is small but big enough that it holds quite a bit of candy. We didn't want anything too big, because we have a little circular placemat and we have several little candy dishes all around with an assortment of different things. We started doing it at Christmas around a small Christmas tree and it was so much fun having the little dishes of candy that we decided to keep it after the holidays. It's turned into a really fun tradition. We are retired so it's not like we have to worry about kids dipping into the candy all day long, and thankfully we have self control so we usually only take a couple pieces at night after dinner.Anyway back to the candy dish it's really a nice size, it could've been a little smaller for our uses but this is fine. I also really like that it's a thick glass. Sort of like a Pyrex container. I think it's gonna go through the dishwasher fine, and it doesn't seem real fragile like if I set it down on my granite countertops I don't think it's going to shatter. I'm really happy with my purchase and it was also a pretty good deal at around $15.I think I'm going to start a new collection of candy dishes. Ha haThanks for reading my review

I use this for sugar cubes for my coffee. I was worried that it wouldn't fit a lot after reading some reviews, but it's really quite roomy for a candy or trinket bowl. Could put qtips or cotton balls in it etc too. Really versatile and well made. I'm glad I got it. Thick, too, so it doesn't seem like it would break easily. Nice color.
