5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect blackout
These curtains were perfect, they provided complete blackout in our room for our baby. Easy to install, durable and the price was great. I would highly recommend.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice, but not true blackout curtains.
I own a true "Tiny Home" and wanted lavender curtains. These are a bit darker purple than I had hoped, but they are good quality and I am very happy with them! I don't believe that they really qualify as "blackout" curtains as they don't have the backing on them. This pic was taken during the day and you can see they let very little light in, so they are close to blackouts. I bought them for more privacy and the color. I'm pleased with them and they close together better than my previous curtains.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for blocking light (for sleeping, A/V production), improving energy efficiency of home
To reduce expenses and to help protect the environment, in early 2021 our household started taking a number of measures to cut our energy consumption. Those measures have proven successful: total 2021 electricity consumption in our single-family, detached home in the US SE was about 8,000 kWh (3,200 of which was for HVAC), compared to about 11,000 kWh annual average in previous years. [UPDATE on 1/1/23: our total electricity consumption in 2022 dropped even further to just 5,500 kWh (1,600 of which was for HVAC) for the year. We have HALVED our electricity consumption. Huge savings.]Much of our attention has been on our windows. In addition to improving energy efficiency, we have thought about privacy and, in certain rooms, blocking bright light (to allow for sleep by day, for photography and video production…). With all this in mind, we are very pleased with our LEMOMO Black Thermal Blackout Curtains. They’re thick, solid, soft to the touch, and – when installed from ceiling to floor – they do a superb job of blocking even the brightest sunshine. We left our existing curtains in place and installed the Lemomo curtains on top of them. This meant that we needed curtain braces that extend several inches away from the wall. We found something that does the trick beautifully: TEJATAN - Double Curtain Rod Brackets (www.Bolo.com/gp/product/B06W9FZJJ9). We can also recommend the rods we got: Ivilon Drapery Window Curtain Rod - End Cap Style Design 1 Inch Pole. 72 to 144 Inch Color Black (www.Bolo.com/gp/product/B06X9QCX9N)Here are some other products we purchased at Bolo that we can recommend to those interested in cutting home energy consumption:STATINT Window Film Privacy One Way Daytime Mirror Static Non-Adhesive Solar Glass Film Heat Control: https://www.Bolo.com/gp/product/B07W3VCZNF Dramatically reduces amount of direct sunlight, gives privacy by day, and protects from shattering.Aootek solar lights 120 LEDs with lights reflector, 270 degree Wide Angle, IP65 Waterproof, Security Lights for Front Door, Yard, Garage, Deck (4 pack): https://www.Bolo.com/gp/product/B07NQ4L1SB , as well as Solar Lights Outdoor,WWimy 210 LED 2500LM Motion Sensor Lights with Remote Control, 3 Heads Security LED Flood Lights, IP65 Waterproof, 270° Wide Angle Illumination Wall Lights with 3 Modes (2 Packs): www.Bolo.com/gp/product/B08T9F2MM1 Purchased in August 2021, these lights continue to work well here in the SE, saving us over 150 kWh/year. 5.0 out of 5 stars Great curtains
I bought the royal blue and the navy colors. Our house had curtains leftover by the previous owner that were able to be seen through. During the day they worked great, but at night with a light on you could see figures so we needed to up our privacy. These are a great length, and aren't see through. We put them up when it was high sun and we're instantly able to see a difference. Before we were able to see the road through our old curtains, and now we can not see through these new ones. They are made of a pretty durable fabric and feel great. The room definitely got dark so they are pretty blackout. The navy one you aren't able to see any light though, but the royal blue one you can se very very faint light if you are looking for it. They are both great colors and block light, I will be buying more in a different color for my livingroom.Highly recommend
4.0 out of 5 stars Light dimming? Great. Blackout? Not so much.
I have a 17 month old, and he had started fighting naps more than we’d like, I think due to the brightness in the room. We have blinds in there, but those still let too much light in. So we decided to give some blackout curtains a try! This has definitely been a game changer, naps and bedtime are not near the struggle that they used to be! They are a great strong good quality material. Feels very thick and sturdy. We absolutely love this! They look very nice in the room as well! They fit wonderfully on our windows. The only reason I gave them a 4 star, is because they aren’t “blackout” like the name refers too. They feel more like a very good quality curtain, but doesn’t block out all of the sun and make the room pitch black like what we were expecting hearing the name. Totally would buy again, and debating to get for our room. But may be too difficult to wake up to with them. Hahah.Definitely a wonderful buy! Would recommend! Just don’t expect no light to get in.
5.0 out of 5 stars Buttery soft and blocks light well
Pictures are at 6am with direct sunlight which would beam through the entire house. There is some very subtle sunlight that comes through, which I didn’t mind. By 9-10am when the sun wasn’t blasting through those windows, it was quite dark in the room.My living space is completely open with 5 windows on both sides, which I love. It’s very hard to control the temperature in the summers though, and these have helped tremendously to regulate and keep the space cool(er) for longer.Fabric is buttery soft, hung right out of the package and the fold marks are barely noticeable. A quick stream while they’re hanging took care of that. I love the linen color. They would look better a bit longer, but this length is best between kids and dogs. I bought more for each room in the house.
5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE 💕
I purchased the 84” curtains for my living room. They are blackout and immensely cut down the amount of heat that shines through. They are durable, thick material. The fabric is soft to the touch. I highly recommend these curtains if you are in the market. Worth the money! 😊
These drapes are great!
Love these drapes. Excellent quality. Great fit and BLACKOUT !! Highly recommended
Brighten up a room
Thick enough to block out the light without the rubber backs.
It works, IT WORKS!
Honestly at first the price did seam quite steep, but after putting them on they were exactly what I'd seen advertised. Definitely worth the price of you can afford. Was thinking that the 52 inch one was too long, but then later realised that it helps to block out the sunlight at the bottomAnd if your wondering if the white glitter on the curtain is the sunlight it isn't, it's just the materials on the curtain itself, so the sunlight is only coming out the sides.
Definitely blackout.
Used for bedroom.
The curtains appear to be of good Quality.
I have only checked the fabric in these curtains and have not hung them as yet.
