5.0 out of 5 stars Very easy to connect, operate, and set up
This went straight into my 2007 car which has RC connectors in the center console but no bluetooth for audio. It has BT for phone calls but cannot play music of podcasts or audiobooks. The box contains all the cables you will need be it RC or aux jack, and power USB power plugs.I like this in my car because it powers on/off when the power is applied and disconnected via ignition. My 12v port is not constantly powered. I'm not sure if this has a battery, so look at the description. I was more interested in something that shuts down and powers up.My phone connects instantly when I get in the car and as soon as I hit play, I am listening.Setting it up was simple and quick. I had it installed and running in less than 5 minutes. It has one big button you need to press and hold to make the initial connection, but after that, its all automatic. It is a bit bigger than some other items, 2"x2"x1" (?) so if you can run your RC output into the glovebox or somewhere, that's perfect, and it wont be bouncing and rolling around your car.FYI, this item will certainly work with an older home stereo receiver via the RC jacks. I have a similar unit and this is great for connecting your modern devices to your classic, high-end audio.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for my old school set up
I bought one to use in my 110 year old barn where I use a 25 year old receiver to play music on days I'm working there. The old stereo has a 1/8 inch aux input jack. iPhone doesn't have an earphones jack anymore but I was able to use the adapter to send music to the input from my phone. Not an ideal setup but functional, as long has you have the adapter for the iPhone. Enter this little bluetooth receiver. In a word, it is awesome! Pairs easily. Sound quality is great. Seams better than the audio quality with my old setup. Range is great. Works from anywhere in my barn. Comes with 1/8 inch-to-Rt/Lt RCA plugs to connect to old-school RCA inputs on my receiver. You can also use a standard RCA-to-RCA stereo cable to transfer from the bluetooth to the receiver input. I liked this so much I bought a second one for my home stereo which is more modern than the barn unit, but is pre WIFI and Bluetooth. I am able to connect to the unit just about from anywhere in my house. The price is nice. I was surprised how easy it was to convert my old units into user-friendly bluetooth accessible receivers.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works perfectly.
This let me connect my new tv that lacks physical audio outputs to my older receiver that lacks Bluetooth. No static and we love listening to music through it. Powered by usb so no batteries to recharge. Built solidly and a good subtle design. The status light isn’t too bright. All around good product that does what it advertises.
4.0 out of 5 stars really good except for 1 thing
I really like this device, connects easy, has great range. My issue is that why is there a power port instead of just a USB-C connector for power. It runs on 5V, it comes with an adapter for USB-C connection- but that's just 1 more piece to keep track of. They need to do away with the power-port and just have a USB-C connector as their power input.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to setup.
Easy to set up and great sound quality
5.0 out of 5 stars Works
I got this because the terrible Bluetooth in my Edifier speakers quit on me and was pretty hard to use anyway. This works great. I never have any trouble connecting and it connects pretty fast so I can stream Spotify through my aforementioned waste of space Edifer speakers.
5.0 out of 5 stars It works very well!
I used this to connect my phone or laptop to a dj mixer board, home stereo, and other devices with an input. It’s not pro grade quality, but it doesn’t have strange interference, and it connects a Bluetooth device to an amplifier or stereo system with RCA or headphones input.Liked it so much I bought 2 more to leave connected to my garage stereo and to keep one in my DJ equipment kit…in case I need it.
3.0 out of 5 stars Works well…sometimes a little too well!
TL;DR- Esinkin works well but will takeover the Bluetooth signal from any other device in your house. There is no on-off button so you will need to unplug the power cord if it’s not the device you want to stream sound to. Also, multiple Esinkin’s don’t play well with each other, they’ll all try to connect regardless if you tell your iPhone to ignore one. They’re always powered on and trying to grab the signal and conflicting with each other.I have prewired speakers throughout my house and outside by the pool. There are 3 different areas/speaker setups that each require their own stereo amplifier running a speaker selector switch. I wanted to be able to use my iPhone to stream music to the stereo amplifiers in each zone, so I bought 3 of these Eisinkin BT (Bluetooth) receivers. They work great, are easy to setup, and are pretty powerful. And that’s the problem. If you have any other BT devices (ex: headphones, speakers, etc.) the Esinkin will “hijack” the signal and take it over. There is no power on/off button so you’ll need to physically unplug it to stop it from unintentionally grabbing the signal. Two of my amplifiers have power switches on the back that control when the Esinkin turns on/off, but the third doesn’t have that power switch. So every time I try to use one amp the other with the Eisinkin tries to connect to both, basically causing a conflict and not allowing ANY music to play. So if you want to use multiple Eisikin’s be sure your amplifiers have switches on the back that kill power when not turned on. Or simply do what I ended up doing and buy different brands so they don’t conflict with each other. I know it all sounds confusing but if you try it like I did, you’ll soon learn it doesn’t work well with other of the same units or other BT devices. A simple on-off button would help prevent always having to unplug the power cord.
