5.0 out of 5 stars Truly minimalist! One month in and loving it.
I only carry a wallet as a backup to my phone. My drivers license is key and a quick way to show my ID without taking my license out of the wallet. I carry my license plus 3 cards and about 3 bills. That covers most scenarios and the slimness of the wallet is the best part of it. Some of the other slim wallets are wider. This is just barely wider than the cards and it has one slot with a hole to make it easy to pull out your primary card. The cash area is a little tight but accessible and I rarely use cash. It's lightweight, thin and easily slides in an out of the pocket. The only potential drawback is the ID window plastic is slightly opaque. It's readable without removing but I wish it was a little more clear. Love it and so affordable I will probably buy an extra for when this one wears out.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great
This is a very good , low profile wallet. Doesn't hold much, but it will help keep the clutter away and the pocket free of more space for those that don't like to carry around bulk. Was a gift to the husband, and he really likes it. Has held up to daily wear and tear with no issues.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect size
Holds all my important cards and still has a sleek profile. Great quality, too.
4.0 out of 5 stars Comparisons - “Buffway” Slim Wallet, “Seattle Grey”. No benefits to get this one!
I’d often take my wallet out of my back pocket while driving because of the thickness of it. Decided it was time to be a wallet minimalist, got rid of the junk – really only need a few cards and bills. Started looking for a thin simple wallet, ordered several. In these pics I put five credit cards in each one to compare them for thickness and ease of use (nobody wants to be hung up at the cashier with a line behind them).1. “kinzd” Slim Minimalist Wallet, “Waterproof Leather” - www.Bolo.com/dp/B07FKPNR46Falsely named, not leather, but a nice textured charcoal grey cloth, build feels quality. 7/16” (under 1/2") thick with 5 cards. Unlike the “Buffway” wallets, the front card doesn’t have a thumb hole for pushing the card out from the bottom, but actually it slides out more easily than the Buffways due to the smooth cloth. If I fold a dollar bill in half and push it in corner-first, it goes in ok, not as easy to load as my old bifold wallet, but acceptable. This one is my favorite for feel and finish. I wish they would make a version without the ID window.2. “Buffway” Slim Minimalist, “Cross Black” leather - www.Bolo.com/dp/B079DCW7GBColor is shiny black, quality of leather and build seems good. 3/8” thick with 5 cards! The thumb hole is nice for getting the first card out, the cards behind it are difficult to remove. Adding/removing cash is equally adequate as the kinzd wallet above. I think this may be the best choice due to thinness and functionality.3. “Buffway” Mens Slim Wallet, “Seattle Grey” leather - www.Bolo.com/dp/B07FDLZ9J1Nice color, quality of leather and build seems good. 3/8” thick with 5 cards - I would NOT recommend this wallet over the previous Buffway, as it is surprisingly the same thickness, the difference in width is negligible, and the other has two more slots. So downsizing to this one gives no benefits.4. “kinzd” Slim Wallet “Waterproof Black” - www.Bolo.com/dp/B07F6YY54LNot black, it’s the same textured grey cloth as the other kinzd, but with white stitching. A bifold design, an uncompromising minimalist design, as there’s almost zero extra bulk - card slots inside are just cutouts in the cloth. Two more card slots are hidden in the cash area. I tried this one to see if adding/removing cash was any easier, but it wasn’t much easier than the others because the cards in the interior slots get in the way, and the wallet is exactly as wide as the bill so cash has to be inserted perfectly not to stick out. I wish it were just a few mms wider for this reason.5. My 20-year-old wallet for comparison, a very typical bifold with ID flip-out, is 3/4” thick with 5 cards. So all of these options feel so much more slim and lightweight than a traditional wallet. Of course, they hold less, but it’s for the best. :)
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Slim Wallet
I like the slim profile of this wallet. It's ideal for carrying a few important cards and a few bills without all the bulk of a regular wallet. It appears to be well made and very functional. I find it relatively easy to remove cards and cash from the wallet. It fits nicely in front or back pockets.
5.0 out of 5 stars Plenty of storage but slim
Perfect slim wallet. I can fit 5-6 cards, plus bills and it's still slim. Taking cards or cash out is simple. Nothing is difficult to remove from the wallet. Also has a transparent slot for my ID. I absolutely love this wallet.
5.0 out of 5 stars Slim and holds cards and cash.
Like it's sleekness as well as enough slots for cards and cash. Not bulky.
5.0 out of 5 stars A decent front-pocket wallet at a decent price
I’ve had a thick wallet for most of my life, which I carried in my hip pocket. That eventually led to some lower back problems, and general discomfort. A few years back I read about thinner wallets carried in a front pocket, and decided to give it a try. It made a huge difference for me. No more lower back pain, or feeling I was sitting on a block of wood.My first such wallet was made of thin leather, and worked well, until it started coming apart. That was partly due to the design, and probably as much to do with the amount of stuff I put in it.So I looked for a replacement, and found this one. I considered a hard-sided thin wallet, but realized that it wouldn’t hold enough for my needs.I really like this wallet, for the following reasons:- the leather (if that’s what it is) is thicker than in the one it replaced, and I expect will prove more durable.- although tight now, I expect the leather to stretch a bit, which will make the whole thing work better.- it has thumb slots on both sides, making it much easier to remove my DL or credit cards.- the section in the middle holds cash, and is easier to access than the old one, which had a simple pocket on the side.- the credit card slots are stepped, so making it easier to get the cards that aren’t in the top compartment.- it’s an RFID wallet, which my old one was not.Highly recommended for those, like me, that carry a front pocket wallet but with too much stuff to put into a hard sided wallet.
