5.0 out of 5 stars Unlike any other mobile desk
This is perfect for what I wanted. Easy to assemble (I did it by myself and I am not handy). Lots of room to work. Raising and lowering could be easier but I don't need to adjust it. You definitely need 2 people to put monitors on and adjust (for safety reasons and the instructions tell you this). It looks good, moves around easily and it fits through my doors (I've seen other comments stating otherwise). I am extremely pleased with this mobile work station and would highly recommend!
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy installation, not adjustable after setup
Adjusted my 5* review to 3* after 9 months of use because the wheels began to fail. First, they are bending the metal frame they attach to so that the wheels no longer stand up straight; and second, the locking wheels no longer stay unlocked, so I had to tie rope around the wheels to hold them in unlocked position. "Why does a product claiming a 5 year warranty require such extreme measures to work around defects," you ask? Because customer support does not exist from their website. I have been reaching out to them for a few weeks now with no response. Despite the poor customer service, I still love the desk, but be aware that it doesn't hold up to consistent daily use.********** Original Review ***********The desk was incredibly easy to assemble, all off the parts were included and they fit correctly. Some of my components had cosmetic defects or scratches, but most looked great. The instructions state not to attempt to adjust height while the desk is in use. This is a major setback in the utility of the desk. Attempting to adjust the height while holding two 27 inch monitors is doable for a very strong person but might be impossible for the average person. For me, the trick is adjusting from behind so you can support the monitor weight while adjusting. I'm loving mine.
4.0 out of 5 stars Works well as a standing desk and is relatively firm.
Setup for the desk was simple to follow. However, at times it seems as pieces do not fit. The key is to have parts loosely assembled before tightening the screws. It would be helpful to have a forewarning on the instructions regarding this. After the desk was set up, it worked well, was stable, and did a great job at what is was meant to do: be a table.Unfortunately, the shipment I received, had a terribly torn box and the 2 main boards that lay on the top and acts as the desk have noticeable dents on the corners and chips on the side. It was packaged with some bit of protection: each board was wrapped with thin packing foam sheet and beads of styrofoam surrounding everything.
1.0 out of 5 stars DANGEROUS if under 5'5" and using as stand and sit DO NOT RECOMMEND
I bought this as a sit/stand desk due to the reviews of it being "easy to move up and down. Upon opening the box I noticed the boards had chips in them. If I didn't need a desk to work at home I would have returned it but I was needing it now. Upon putting it together the holes did not line up quite right but we made it due. I live alone and am 5 feet tall. I use 27" double monitors for work. Now, in order to lift this, not a problem, just needed it lifted it a tad (which wasn't 'easy' per say but not difficult and was doable). When the day was over and I needed to on the other hand get it back down for the next day to be able to start in the morning seated, I had to lift it to the very highest before it would go back down. THIS GOES ABOUT 6 FEET. Seriously now. With nothing but the monitors attached that is NOT DOABLE. Now, try taking the clamp off with the monitors to lay that down? Seriously? Then put it back on? Looking at it that wouldn't happen. Trying to lift this up to the last notch it came tumbling over on top of me and the whole thing crashed down on top of me. Needless to say instead of sitting or standing at any desk, I put this together September 17and have been working mostly from the couch on a heating bad and ice since then going to physical therapy. Some talk of an automatic timer and it going to preset heights. Mine sure didn't come with a timer or any instructions on how to set it to preset heights. In fact, the instructions were pictures. NO WORDS. Only pictures. While it would be nice to have this to use as a stand up desk alone it didn't hold up when it tumbled on top of me. And if it came with a timer to set for preset heights that would have sure helped and prevented months of pain and injury. If you can't slam dunk or have a second person in the home to help you lift this, DO NOT PURCHASE!
3.0 out of 5 stars Check dimensions first
Working from home so wanted something a bit more permanent than the card table I had been working on. Liked many of the features on this - wheels, monitor stand, height adjustable, so made the purchase. Overall it is nice and will do what I want, but they missed on some of the specs. First, the height adjustment - I like the idea of standing some times, but will sit most of the time. The lowest the main table goes is 32". I have my chair at it's highest position and the keyboard surface is still a bit too high. When the desk is all the way up it is up to my armpits - who needs it that high? So they should have lowered the overall height range by 4-6". Next, as others have mentioned, at 32" deep it is too big to fit through a door. They easily could have taken 2-4" off the depth and kept the functionality. Heck, I'm thinking of cutting it down myself, but that would require a modification on how the shelf is affixed. Finally, the raising and lowering mechanism is a bit awkward. I guess that is a get what you pay for, but definitely not too easy to switch up on a regular basis.
5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Mobile Desk - So Useful and Practical for My Needs
Awesome! It's so lovely, the wood finish is so clean, modern, stain-resistant, and easy to wipe down. This mobile desk is so sturdy, and easy to assemble. The number of shelves, spacing between them, and width of them is so practical and well thought out for setting up your entire digital life including a printer. I find the design to be ergonomic for my personal needs. This mobile desk met all my needs for an all-in-one command center for remote work, attending online school, while being accessible for myself & children to plug in their laptops and jump behind the desk from any room in our home. I was thinking of switching out the wheel casters but once I received the unit the casters are in fact heavy-duty and ample for moving the desk unit from room to room. I am satisfied with my desk. I wish I had thought to purchase one sooner. I will provide photos at a later date.
