5.0 out of 5 stars Body-only case for DSLRs
A case for just the camera body was surprisingly difficult to find and the one from another manufacturer that was discussed in photography forums was discontinued so I did a lot of searching to find this one. This kind of body-only case was described as the holy grail :-)It fits my new-to-me used Canon 5D Mark IV almost perfectly. As you see in the second photo, the top of the camera where the hot shoe is does push out a little (as in the right of the photo). Given that my use is to put the camera body in this case then put the case in my daypack while on treks, I am not worried about the tightness there since the case has a cushion around the zipper that will prevent it from scratching the camera body. Also, the 5D does not have a flash built-in so i don't need to worry about a flash pop-up being damaged. The case is plenty wide enough to get the camera strap in (first photo). It is also tall enough that the camera does not make the lid bulge up, but it is snug. There isn't much extra room, however, for any accessories. e.g., the lid is snug enough i wouldn't risk a memory card in the mesh compartment getting crushed against the camera body if the case was banged against something. On second thought, this is a fairly heavy camera, so even if a memory card would fit, I would want the weight of the camera smacking against the cards even if they were in plastic cases.A memory card or two would fit neatly in the space above the camera display (at bottom right of the first photo). A battery might physically fit there BUT would rub against the display and buttons so I wouldn't risk it.Suggestion to Lowepro: make another version of this that is 1/2" wider to accommodate the height of DSLRs (guessing mirrorless cameras are about the same size?). Or better yet, add a full inch to allow room for batteries and memory cards.All-in-all this is perfect for what I want!
5.0 out of 5 stars Strong little case
Perfect for travel and very protective
4.0 out of 5 stars Very sturdy. Looks nice. Fits the Panasonic DMC-ZS200.
Just barely fits the Panasonic ZS200, with the corners of the camera lightly pressing into the case. Very sturdy design, and looks nice. The belt loop is sewn too tight and will be hard to use. As others have stated the zipper pulls run into the fabric retainers that keeps the clamshell from opening all the way. If I did it over again I would just buy the Ruggard HFV-260 which isn't much bigger, is fairly sturdy, and provides more interior space due to being a boxy design as opposed to the tapered design of this Lowepro case.
5.0 out of 5 stars Canon G7X Mark II Fits in this case with a few annoyances
The media could not be loaded. Five stars because I value the compactness and hard sides of this case. Other cases that showed up for G7X searches were all too bulky. While the listed inner dimensions for the Lowepro Hardside CS 20 seemed too small for the G7X MKII, I took the risk and bought it. It actually fits quite well if you don't to use the extra side pocket for anything that takes up the full space of the pocket. The annoyances are mentioned in the pervious reviews. The side fabric hinges need to be tucked in before you zip up the case otherwise they get in the way. The zippers also do make a bit of noise from rattling. Not super annoying, but wish they had done something like rubberize the zipper tabs.Otherwise, nice looking design with the yellow pop color around the zipper. Nice having the logo, patterned ridge, and belt loop as it makes it easy to tell which side is up.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good fit DJI Action 2 Dual Screen Combo
If you were trying to find the perfect custom made case for the DJI Action 2 dual screen combo….. there isn’t one. At least there wasn’t at the time of this review, I looked everywhere. But I found this and after closely looking at the pics and measurements, thought it could work …… and it does. See my packing solution in the included pic. Good material, decent fit - everything is in there. I am pleased.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for what I wanted
Durable box for me to carry my radio equipment on an expedition. Just can’t be it.
5.0 out of 5 stars nice case, good protection
Great so far. Fits my RX100 III well with room for memory cards and spare batteries. Protected my camera when I dropped it from my bike at 20mph on gravel. Zippers are not water resistant, but the case material sheds water well.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great! Watch size of camera to case. Canon PowerShot SX720 HS
Great case! Just the protection I was looking for to protect my Canon PowerShot SX720 HS. Nice an snug. Two things to note: 1. I would have liked to see a more robust strap to the case, it is a plastic hook clip. 2. Fabric hinges are sew in such a way that they fold outward when closing the case. The seam material gets in the way of the zipper when trying to close and will also prevent the zipper from opening. My fix - fold seam over and hand sew to one side of hinge strap.Canon PowerShot SX720 HS: Dimensions ( W x H x D ) 4.32 x 2.51 x 1.41 in. / 109.7 x 63.8 x 35.7mm.Lowepro Hardside CS 20 Dimensions ( W x D x H ) Exterior: 3.66 x 2.36 x 5.71" (9.30 x 5.99 x 14.50cm) Interior: 2.76 x 1.18 x 4.53" (7.01 x 3.00 x 11.51cm)
Good quality but it’s very small
Doesn’t fit anything else other than 2 Sony batteries and the dock with the cable
Ideal case for X100V and GoPro
Perfect size for X100V, GoPro, spare batteries, cloth and camera strap.
Ideal for Ricoh GR III
This is a great fit for the Ricoh GR III. It fits nice and snug and doesn't move around inside the case. I returned the softer Tahoe CS 20 which was a looser fit, and I kept this Hardside CS 20 instead.
Great Case for 7" GPS
Lowepro makes great cases for cameras etc., and this case does not disappoint. The semi-rigid shell design provides great protection for the contents. The top part of the case handles a Garmin DriveSmart 65 perfectly and the bottom holds the power cable, USB charge cable and suction cup mount with room to spare. The inside lining is soft to the touch and works to protect the screen of the GPS. I looked at a lot of other products and was concerned that they would not carry all of the accessories or would be larger than necessary. The case is well designed and constructed and will provide years of service. It might cost a bit more than other products, but its worth it to protect your investment.
Strong camera case
The Lowe case is well made and the camera and accessories are well protected.
