I bought two of these timers for two different sets of outdoor string lights. Neither worked from the start - one wouldn't turn on the lights at all, and the other would turn on the lights in the "always" on mode, but the timer programs wouldn't work. I called the company to see if I was doing something wrong or see if they could help. The man that answered was AWFUL. Rude from the start and the entire way through. He would not stop interrupting me, telling me that I just don't know what I'm doing, etc. - even though he wouldn't even stop interrupting me long enough to ever hear what the problem was. I let the way he was treating me go for a bit, but then I had to argue back and tell him not to treat me that way, and if we wants to help, maybe he should listen to what the problem is and BELIEVE ME when I say it's not working (since he told me more than once that I was the problem and the lights should be on right now - well, they aren't!). Just absolutely ridiculous. Man should not be in customer service, but besides that, terrible product! Especially for 2 of 2 to be broken. Go elsewhere. Save yourself some time and a headache.
