I have long, thick, slightly wavy with a tendency to becoming curly hair and have burned up more hair dryers than I care to think about over the years. I need horsepower!! This delivers! This isn't a dinky little on/off hair dryer, folks!I love all the functions! The warm and cool functions are so hard to find locally and I was jumping and down with excitement when I found this one. I'm sure Walmart or Sally's sells them but I never get there in time to snag one.The cool function is a godsend for ladies of a certain age. Hot flashes are no joke and when they hit while using a blow dryer? It can feel like falling into a smelting furnace. Hit that snowflake button under the barrel and feel 3 degrees cooler at least. You won't think even for a second it's a Bahamian breeze but it'll work in a pinch. You can also use it to dry 'other' areas. You can thank me later!!Other hair dryers can take upwards of 30 minutes for a full dry, fresh from the shower. Twenty minutes if I let my hair dry in a towel turban while I dress and etc. Not this one! Seriously yesterday I had 95% dry hair in 12 minutes. I never go to 100% since I like to style it while very slightly damp. My arms didn't get tired either.My only super minor annoyance with this is the cord is a bit too short. Now, that's in my bathroom. It's the smallest half bath in the entire known universe and you'd think the cord would be long enough. Nope. It has to cross the sink and I have to hopscotch around the toilet and bend over to do the underneath/nape. The door has to be open since I literally can't do that with the door shut. I have to face out the door so the cord is a smidgen too short or maybe I'm too short. (Wouldn't be the first time I heard that!) I make it work though and I'm sure you can too! It's worth the yoga/pilates stretches I have to do to prevent going out with wet hair at 5am.I would think this could travel very easily. I would recommend wrapping the diffuser in a towel or something though. It's plastic and worth it's weight in gold. With a little extra work and a few products, my waves become soft curls. I love having the option!Seriously, if I haven't convinced you by now, you're not looking for a hair dryer, you're looking for a miracle.

My big old pink Conair hair dryer went kaput, so I needed a new one. It had only been 20 years or so. Of course, that model was long gone. So, I looked at the other Conair dryers and some of the off brands on Bolo. Didn't really see anything I liked. I was so frustrated, I sent for the $10 model. Not a good idea- Very short cord, took forever to dry and left my hair feeling like straw.I looked again and decided I would try a Revlon. I had used their makeup for years, but does that mean they make a good hair dryer? Apparently, yes!This Revlon model had a 6-foot cord! I measured it. I need a long cord since I have very long straight hair past my waist. I bend over and let my hair hang down to dry it, so I need a lot of room. I also appreciate that the back end has a mesh cover, so my hair doesn't get sucked into it. I am very happy that it also has a diffuser attachment that makes it easy to aim the air flow. The attachment is sturdy and clicks into place.I took off one star because the controls are on the back side and so you have to turn them on before you start. I just use the high settings, so it isn't a problem for me, but may be for others. The cool button is also a bit hard to reach. If I aim it towards myself and use the inside of my thumb, I can turn it off and on when needed while drying. That may also be difficult for some.I was looking for a lighter model, but they didn't seem to be of good quality. This one is heavier than the $10 one I returned. But it only takes about 5-7 minutes to dry my hair, so the weight isn't really a problem for me after all. It doesn't check all the boxes for me, but enough that I really like it now that I have used it for a number of months. It has a cool silver and white color and doesn't take up much storage room.

My first dryer (same model) lasted about 15 years (?) before dying, so I wasn't expecting to purchase a new one, but so glad I did! This blows a perfect warm air flow, and I had no idea until the old one died how much I was losing by not replacing it sooner.The price is great, it dries my hair easily without trouble and has multiple attachments. Love it.

I bought this particular hair dryer for the diffuser. I am a Cancer survivor (yeah!!) and as a result, I have some crazy curls that I don't know well how to handle yet.This dryer has warm and hot settings, with a cool option, too, to help set your hair style, and all of these options function properly.The diffuser does a nice job of getting the roots dry and helping to define the curls, rather than them just poofing out in whatever direction. It works great!No problems at all with the dryer mechanically. It's well built and a quality product. IMO, it's a little too big to be a travel product, but if you have the luggage space, it's light weight and do just fine.
