I recently purchased the Klipsch R-51M Bookshelf Speakers (Pair) in black, and I am absolutely thrilled with their performance! These speakers are an incredible upgrade to my home audio setup. The sound quality is truly impressive—crystal-clear highs, punchy mids, and deep, well-defined bass. Whether I’m listening to music, watching movies, or gaming, the sound is dynamic and immersive.The build quality is top-notch, with a sleek and modern design that fits perfectly in my living room. The black finish looks elegant and complements any décor. Despite their compact size, the R-51M speakers deliver powerful sound that fills the room effortlessly.The installation process was simple, and they are very easy to integrate with my existing system. The 5.25-inch woofer and 1-inch tweeter really deliver in terms of detail and clarity, and I’ve noticed a significant improvement in sound quality compared to my previous speakers.Overall, I couldn’t be more satisfied with the Klipsch R-51M Bookshelf Speakers. They provide excellent value for the price, offering superior sound and an attractive design. Second set of these and they’re awesome. I’m not a huge audiophile so I’m not sure how great they reproduce sound but for the average listener, these are cheap, get loud, have minimum distortion at very high volumes, and even if you’re just running them in stereo and trying to minimize cost, you can run them without a subwoofer as they can get down to cheap subwoofer frequency ranges. They have the signature klipsch look and are decently sized and imo are very hard to beat for the price.

For the 150$ I paid for it it was a no brainer got lucky because I bought used like new, but it was sealed and I'm sure it was brand new. Hooked it up to 60w channel and easily fills my small house and even reaches my neighbor's house as well. By itself it's not the strongest in terms of bass but a subwoofer even a tiny one Compliments this speaker nicely because even while at the loudest volume still sounds clear, it does goes to a higher pitch the louder you put it at but not bad enough to ruin the clarity but by then your ears would hurt before this happens. A lot of people online don't recommend the bottom of the line Klipsch and comparing them against 500$ speakers. Ofc those win this is at a more budget level. Compared to the 2008 sony speaker I used its 10 times better.

I started out trying to power these speakers with a fosi BT30D Pro amp, the amp seemed under powered and would switch itself off, and the seal on manufacturers box was pre-torn when I removed it from shipping box, I did a return and ordered a Onkyo TX-8220 receiver, which is rated at 65 watts lower than the fosi amp. The Onkyo receiver was well worth the extra money, especially for powering the R-51M speakers, I think the fosi BT30D Pro amp does not put out the watts that the company claims it does, and maybe the 30 on the model number signifies the max continuous watts per rating.These Klipsch speakers have outstanding sound with the Onkyo amp, and with the use of a computer equalizer plugged into the Onkyo amp with a 3.5 jack to rca cable, I would definitely buy this combination again.

I love these speakers! I bought them for my home office to replace some old Infinity speakers that failed from old age. There is nothing fancy about them, but I listen to music constantly and need speakers that sound really good at normal volume and I do not have the budget to go beyond this price level. Although I am certain an added Klipsch subwoofer would take the sound from really good to excellent, I am happy with the bass response and the higher frequency response is very good. If I crank them up, they are amazing for their size.

These speakers sounded awesome hooked up to my vintage Pioneer Stereo Receiver. Great range and power handling with them, surprised by the great sound for the size of them, and they look great on my shelf.

Estuve buscando muchas marcas y modelos de monitores y después de escuchar estás Klipsch R51M en muchas reviews, me decidí por ellas, no me arrepiento para nada, me encantaron y considero que son ideales para escuchar Rock y Blues, no son tan caras y el vendedor me las envió muy bien empacadas y llegaron a tiempo, lo recomiendo ampliamente Aisham Forever desde Miami a ciudad de México, muy buen servicio.

Comprei essas caixas para usar com um receiver stereo no escritório e me atenderam muito bem.Não são caixas refinadas e nem para ambientes grandes, mas tocam muito bem, não causam fadiga auditiva e atendem desde que sejam utilizadas da maneira correta.Sendo assim, se você precisa de uma caixa com visual bacana, com um som que não decepciona, com um ótimo custo x benefício, elas irão lhe atender perfeitamente.São bem construídas, a tela de proteção é com imã e a embalagem é bem bacana e proteje muito bem o produto durante o transporte.

Fantastic pair for 2.1 stereo or as a high end addition to full surround. Even as main fronts or studio monitors these are phenomenal value. Never buy a pre-built again, a simple DAC amp or receiver with a powered sub is way better bang for the buck.Crystal clear audio at very low volumes as well as very loud. They respond excellent to software equalization, capable of some bass on their own if you don't want a full subwoofer with them (highly recommend 10" or larger subwoofer). The sensitivity is such that even a simple amp can drive these very well for an 8ohm passive speaker, which is great for small units or a cottage or apartment.They're very bright in sound thanks to the horn shape tweeter space, but if you keep the magnetic shields on it attenuate the high end just a little for a personal preference adjustment.After breaking them in for a week there's no hissing, whine, static, fuzz, or any discernable audio when playback is stopped so careful not to leave them on, there's almost no way to tell just by listening for electrical noise.These pack a punch, they're very clean in looks and sound, but if you're into warm sound (lows and mids emphasized) rather than bright, clean vocals and instruments this brand may not be your best fit. These are amazing for all types and styles of music, and especially movies / games with that clear high end though, so I'd recommend them to anyone on a budget who wants an upgrade from even the best all-in-one stereos available. Build a system with these speakers and a small amp and you'll have a system to gush over for years to come since these can be added on to any high end home theatre solution at any price range down the line.
Amazing audiophile-level sound at an unbeatable budget price!
These R-51M bookshelf speakers have been on my Wishlist since I first listed to them a year ago. To be clear, I am not a big fan of the so called "Klipsch sound"; however, these speakers can sing beautifully!Paired with a Harman HK3490, a Harman AVR171/171S, or an Onkyo TX-RZ50, the sound you get out of these is unmatched for the price point in my opinion.Although these do not go very low, the bass performance you get from 100Hz and below is quick and punchy, though you will require a subwoofer if you mean business. Now, the stars of the show; the mid range and high notes! I cannot even begin to describe how awesome these sound! The mid range is very clean with sublime vocals, and the top range is so detailed and provides insane clarity. I had these hooked in to my receiver for a good time and never felt fatigue, which I usually get rather fast with other Klipsch speakers I listen to.If you're one of those who are after clinical tests of neutrality, I doubt that these speakers are for you. However, if you forget graphs for a second and give these a listen if you can demo them somewhere, I am sure you'll hear a lot to appreciate. I used these as my main speakers for listening in the near field and in a mid-sized room with no treatment.Finally, I also think the R-51M looks beautiful with those silver screws contrasting the black baffle, the copper drivers, and the tweeter's horn. I find them very pleasing to look at with the grill too but mostly without it.To sum up, these are very clear and detailed sounding speakers with reference-level audiophile performance. They are very dynamic, engaging, and fun to listen to, and they're a bargain at the current price for the performance you get. For reference, my main audiophile system is based on a pair Focal Chora towers, so if I like the sound of these, it speaks volume about the value for money you get from the Klipsch R-51M!
