I saw some people suggested getting one size smaller. I normally wear XL but ordered the L and it was very snug. I returned it, no problem and got the XL. Mine is solid black. I'm 6ft 1 and 240lbs. It arrived two days after I returned the smaller one! That was cool. I tried on my coat and I am really impressed. It fits me just right. The coat is warm but not suffocating and it has room for a sweater. So you don't have to have six-pack abs to wear it. Nice warm deep pockets. The fabric and zippers very sturdy and I anticipate it will last a while. Not only is this coat very comfortable, it is really nice looking. It's like the company asked me what I wanted in a coat. I mean it. I wore it again this morning with the hood in 38 degree driving rain. With just a shirt under it and the hood, I was perfectly comfortable and dry. I initially thought the hood was too big so I remove it for decent weather. In the rain it's like an umbrella in that not a drop fell on my head or face and it's warm too. This is a really good coat! You don't need anything fancier or more expensive. For the price, it's a great deal and I look good in it, that's priceless! I'm going to order another color. Well done guys. Make more stuff like this!

I bought this for a ski trip to Colorado. I wore this everyday and stayed warm and dry.I still wear this in winter and it is still in great shape and keep me warm and dry.The material is comfortable, waterproof, and durable.I really like the color options.The zippers are strong and easy to grab even with gloves on.There are plenty of pockets and the hood is easily removeable.

I like everything about the coat. I am in Colorado and this completely keeps me warm. I am 5'11 170lbs and I got a medium based on another persons comment. It fits perfect. I could gain another 20 lbs and it would still fit.

Its two most important features-- it is very warm, and people can see you (I got the orange one). I purchased this jacket several weeks before the weather turned bad, and then finally broke it out and tested it during the horrid nationwide winter storm we experienced here in the United States in late December of 2022.In my particular part of the country-- the Great Lakes region of the upper U.S. --it was minus one degree Fahrenheit, and that did not include the wind-chill. So pretty freakin' cold.Well, this jacket/coat kept me warm. A very nice, built-in (non-removable) liner. Plenty of interior and exterior pocket space (the pockets are DEEP-- great for large smartphones, folded paper documents, keys, etc. etc.).My criticisms are minor:The upper interior pocket is best left almost all the way zipped up, when using it, rather than zipping it up completely. The reason is because that particular zipper is small, so if you zip it up completely, it can be difficult to grasp and unzip-- so you'll want to leave a little space there.And, since this jacket was so warm, not really a problem for me, but others might not like that all of the "fabric" of this jacket-- both the outer shell and the inner liner --is made of polyester. But, as I said, it was still plenty warm.A very comfortable and durable Winter jacket (heavy enough to be considered a coat).

This coat was purchased for snow bicycling in a particularly cold, high altitude Utah winter. I am very particular about looks in a coat and warmth.First of all, this is not a North Face or Arc Terex jacket. But look at the price tag. It is COMPLETELY worth the price, 100%. It is very very warm and well built. I do think that the outer fabric is a tiny bit thin, but it does indeed protect from moisture. I would not say it’s waterproof, but more water resistant. My one gripe with this jacket is that the inner chest pocket zipper came to me sewn in backwards, rendering it basically useless. I love using my inner chest jacket pocket for my phone, so I was disappointed by that.Overall, this is a very high quality coat for the price and I will purchase another one! I do think the sizes run a little big. I’m 5’11” 180lbs and I bought a large first. I was swimming in it. I sent it back to exchange for a medium and medium was a perfect fit!

Really like this jacket especially considering the price.It is warm - Got it last week, just in time for -5 below wind chill NY weather. With only a light cotton shirt under it, I was surprisingly comfortable for a time. Layering up with a fleece underneath and was good for the day, which only got to a high of about 20.Regarding layering up - I got a large at first, based on the sizing measurements on the product page. While it did fit, there was no room for anything but a shirt underneath. Also found the armpit area a bit snug. Returned that for an XL, which is not excessively loose, but does allow a fleece or something underneath, so, perfect for me (6'1", 188lbs).As others have mentioned - the hood is quite big. If you believe two heads are better than one, you can fit them both in this hood. Drawstrings can snug it down OK though.Can't speak to longevity, only been a week - we'll see...Edit 1/29/22 - Just wore this jacket out in bomb cyclone Kenan here in NY. Minus 3 to minus 5 wind chill. Had a thin thermal shirt under a light fleece, and this jacket on top... for two hours of snowblowing. Excellent! Warm, waterproof, comfortable.

I purchased this April 2020 and I have used it for so so so many occasions from camping, to riding, to sleeping in, hiking, raining. I don't need a new one in the slightest, but almost want a back up just in case. Great quality, very warm and cozy, plenty of pockets. Thank you for making a great quality product. Best jacket purchase.
