5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for my P1000!
I recently bought a Nikon P1000 to get a better zoom for my birding hobby. The next challenge was how to protect my investment. I researched several kinds of camera bags and weighed each of their respective pros and cons. I am retired, love the outdoors, hate carrying a lot of extra stuff when trying to get a good photo - BUT I like to be reasonably prepared. I had to find the balance between being able to carry every camera accessory known to man - and having just enough stuff to get the shots I will enjoy for years to come. With that in mind, I decided to go after a bag that was compact (considering the large size of my camera), sturdy, had a few storage compartments for extra batteries, memory cards, remote shutter release, etc. I travel quite a bit, so being able to carry this through airports without breaking my back was also important. In theory, he CADeN Camera Bag Sling Case in 2.0 M seemed to answer the call for me.When it first arrived, I was skeptical that this bag would work with my P1000 – however, after a few days of using it, I realized that it is exactly what I was looking for!As you can see in the pictures, I place the camera on its side in the bag. This exposes the grip, so when I go to remove the camera from the bag, I just grab the grip and I’m ready to start shooting! There is a removable divider that comes with the bag, so I placed it in the bottom of the bag under the lens to provide a little extra support. I do have to turn the hood around to get the camera in the bag. Ideally, it would be nice if the bag were just an inch longer. This is not a deal breaker for me. It takes just a few seconds to flip it around if I need it for a particular shot. The bag seems to be very well-made. The zippers are smooth and work well. The carry handle is nicely padded, and the carry strap is as well. The strap is wide enough and has plenty of adjustment in length for most users. The clips feel very sturdy, so no concerns about breaking one while running through an airport. There are four zippered compartments to use for accessories or whatever you choose. My only complaint (and it is very minor) is that there are no side guards on the external compartments – so that items could fall out the sides when unzipped depending on what you choose to place in them. The bag comes with a removable belt that can be used to secure it around your waist if you need. It also has a web band across the back of the bag if you are traveling and need to slide it over the handle of a roller bag – this is very handy! Additionally, it does come with a separate cover that is supposed to be waterproof. This is a bit awkward to apply and only covers the top and sides – so if it is raining really hard, it would help, I suppose. Honestly, I doubt that I will travel with that. The bag also has a reflective stripe in case you are out and about in the dark.In summary, I am very pleased with my purchase of the CADeN Camera Bag in size 2.0 M. I would highly recommend this bag.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great value for the price !
The 3 outside pockets are great... I can carry all my flat items like filters and batteries there, so I don't have to have those small items bouncing around in the main compartment. This enables a really pleasant access to the camera, flash and other accessories, etc. The inside pocket which is apparently intended for a small laptop can be easily removed, and then the entire inside area can then be arranged using the two adjustable divider panels which are supplied. They work well and the set-up is quick and easy. The body of the bag is well made and adequately padded, and the material on the inside is soft and clean, with no bad smells or chemical residue on it.The bag exceeded my expectations... it's great for people who want to carry a medium size camera (I have a Fuji X-T20) with a large lens on it, and several other accessories.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great little bag!
This is perfect for my Canon. It has plenty of storage spaces for extra batteries, cleaning supplies, etc. Very lightweight.
4.0 out of 5 stars Issue of Size
This camera bag seems to be of generally good quality. Since I have just received it, I have no way to judge its overall durability, so I have given 4 to all the related qualities. At some future time, I might upgrade my review. For now, I will say that I like the storage pockets on three sides to hold such things as filters and batteries, etc. I also like the extra long shoulder strap that makes it easier to carry the bag in winter with heavy coats on.I do have an issue with the size of the bag. It is supposed to hold a DSLR and two lenses plus an iPad. As you can see from one photo, the Nikon D850 body and two lenses take up so much space that the iPad would be squeezed more tightly than I would want. In short, I do not believe this configuration is possible. On another point about size, one video shows someone carrying the bag on a hike and zipping open the lid to take out the camera and shoot. Clearly this is impossible in the configuration I show in one photo. In the other photo, I set up camera to do this, but clearly you could not get a second lens in the case. You could, however, get the iPad in.In summary, I think this is a good enough camera case, but you have to take their storage claims with a grain of salt (whatever that means!).
5.0 out of 5 stars Small fits Canon R50 and one extra lens
Small size is perfect for the cannon r50 with kit lens and the rf55-200mm lens. Well made and good value. Side pocket fits the charger. Strap is easily adjustable.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Value That Fits In a Backpack
I have used this bag almost every day for a month. It fits perfectly in my the main compartment of my Swiss Gear 1900 backpack. While this is not a hard case, it is nicely padded and has decent enough rigidity to hold its shape under moderate compression. It has kept my Olympus OM-D E-M10 and a few lenses safe in my backpack that I carry to work and school every day. For an idea of the space, I am maxed out with that camera and 4 lenses:- Olympus 12-42mm kit lens- Olympus 40-150mm kit lens- Sigma 30mm DN EX- smc Pentax-M 50mm with Fotasy MFT adapterI was not expecting much when I purchased the bag, but I have had zero issues and have been surprised at the quality for the price! I would definitely consider this brand again in the future when I am in need of another bag.I will update my review if I ever run into any issues.
