The media could not be loaded. This Multicolor LED disco party bulb is being sold by the brand Feit Electric. At the time of this review, it is priced at 9 dollars with 191 ratings averaging at 4.5 stars on Bolo. The multicolor lighting effect is achieved by the internal rotating crystal bulb. They use only 5 watts, produce 450 lumens of light, and use the versatile A19 bulb size fitting.Product Con’s:The bulb is larger than expected, but not an issue for my application.Product Pro’s:Excellent price at nine dollars and ninety nine cents, which has dropped from 14 dollars and 99 cents. The higher price is what it is sold for at big box stores like Home Depot and Rocky’s Ace Hardware.The spin speed is perfect, not too fast, not too slow.Light radius is larger than expected and the 450 lumens is bright enough for goof visibility even in the daylight hours!

If you're looking to add some quick ambiance to a party, you really can't go wrong with one of these bulbs. The mechanism is similar to that in the smaller USB-powered party lights you may have seen; there are three flashing LEDs in different colors and a multifaceted prism to create the different light patterns being emitted. The difference is that this bulb has a mechanism that actually rotates the prism once the light is turned on and the flashing effect is more subdued than some of the more strobe-like effects I have seen and used elsewhere.Since this is essentially a mechanical and not an electronic device, it is not sensitive to sound, so the pattern you get will not speed up or slow down in time to any music. It's definitely old-school, so if you are looking for a more controllable light show effect (possibly for stage use at a small club) you will need a pricier alternative. For my use, the current lightbulb is just fine.The bulb is larger than I expected, but it screws into a normal lamp socket just fine.

Arrived with the spinning capability broken inside the bulb, but I love it anyway. It actually works better for me like this because I didn't really want it to spin as I get dizzy easily. I love how it shines onto the wall (I have a bare bulb ceiling light, no shade or cover) and it's so cool how it makes my bed look like an under water carnival club disco party for my octopus Squishmallow. Fun in a kid's room or adult's room, have some fun! Spice up a guest room or air bnb, make it memorable. Love this light bulb, even if it didn't spin for me straight out of the box.

I had other party disco bulbs before, but the faceted spinning part was weakly attached to the rest of the bulb. Two broke when I simply pulled the bulbs out of their super tight packaging. What a disappointment.Lo and behold these AWESOME Feit party bulbs! I will never buy any other brand. The spinning facet part of the bulbs is housed in a crystal clear dome which gives the shape of the whole bulb a traditional light bulb shape. The clear housing dome is securely attached to the bulb base. This was much appreciated when I was pulling bulb out of box and screwing them into the 3 (ceiling fan) lights in our living room. These lights have those glass shades on each bulb and these large sized party bulbs fit just fine in the sconce size shades.Our living room gets southern sun exposure, so I shut the front door, but left the floor length curtains open. So that bright light was coming through the large living room window. I was surprised I could still see the vivid colored light spinning around and around! All three bulbs worked flawlessly and the overall effect was magical! My two youngest kids both asked if we could use these lights at their next birthday parties and I said, Of course!If I can find some extra money in our budget, I am totally going to buy more for the three light staircase chandelier and the four light kitchen ceiling fan! I may even spring for the plug-in, adjustable light sockets to light the hallway and main bathroom. Now I need to think of the various lamps we have which may accommodate standard bulbs!Yes, I may be overly excited; these bulbs are AWESOME! I rarely write such enthusiastic reviews, but after my initial disappointment with the other party bulbs, I know I found some light bulb gems! Go ahead and buy them if you're considering the purchase.

These work great , transform a simple outdoor light into a kaleidoscope of color.
Bought 16 of these for the outside of the house to augment the christmas lights, they look and work great and have been running non stop for 6 weeks with no issue. Time to pull them out and put them away until next year. Great bulbs.

Great Bulbs for Christmas or Dance Party
These bulbs really finished off our Christmas lights on the outside to our home, they were great. Am thinking will use for Halloween as well, and perhaps impromptu dance parties with the kids in our living room.
