It can chop or puree which is a nice feature.. easy to clean and set up and doesn't take up too much space on the counter. Works well and doesn't make a lot of noise when using. Highly recommend

This 5 cup food processor is perfect for making homemade seasonings and I love that I control the speed and function. You simply push down on the lid to make it go. I wish I had used it for more things but I just got it and wanted to jump on here and leave a review. I had been looking for a smaller processor without the vegetable shoot because I don’t have the room and I found this. I started out with a 3.5 cup but then decided to go bigger because I loved how well the smaller one worked. It might be small but it works really well. One thing to note is that it will not process peppercorns (I was going to make lemon pepper) very well because they are so hard, even after smashing them but it minces, chops and purées wonderfully. I haven’t tried liquids in it yet so I’ll come back later to update my review once I have used it for that.

I bought this to use in my RV as its small size is easy to stow. Chops quickly and evenly so does the job. I appreciate that it's 5 cups instead of three cups, so I can chop more. They accomplish this with a taller bin. I worried that the tall size would affect chopping efficiency, but it's not an issue. It works so well, I use it at home. Why use this over my full size food processor? With my big unit, all the bowls, lids, and blades fill up my dishwasher, while the parts from this only take up a small space in the dishwasher drawer. Some notes about how this works: You twist on the bowl, drop in the spindle, slip the blade over the spindle, then twist on the lid. A lever on the side is marked "chop" and "pulse" but it's actually low speed/high speed. To activate, you press a tab on top of the handle; hold to spin, tap to pulse. You get two processing attachments which fit over the spindle: a metal cutting blade and a plastic disk (used for emulsifying stuff like salad dressings. It works well.) There's a slot at the base where you can wrap the cord in a tidy way. Overall, a great product.

I have mixed feelings on this chopper but over all it’s a good product if it suits your needs. The base is well made, charges in just a couple hours, and is made of sturdy, quality plastic. The container feels flimsy in comparison and was a disappointment. I hope they make replacements available for a reasonable cost because even with gentle handling and hand washing I have a feeling it’s going to break. It’s nothing like the container on a food processor, it’s dime store quality plastic and for the price should be nicer.The other reason why I don’t feel it’s just good and not great is the way it turns on and charges. That slider on the front does not turn it on and off. It controls the speed. You turn it on and off by holding the container like a mug and pressing down on the plastic with your thumb. It’s awkward and uncomfortable. It also means you only have one hand to hold the machine so it shimmies around. Fine for small amounts of softer foods but dicing a carrot is a two person job or requires bracing the base against my hip with a towel to keep it from sliding. The charging port is on the front right next to the slider and right where food can drip into. There is no plug or cover.It does have excellent power, especially for a cordless appliance. It almost seems overpowered for the size but I’m not complaining about that. The base truly is very well engineered and built.Overall I like this chopper and will be keeping it even with the not so awesome container. My house is historic and lacks outlets. This being cordless helps me to do my meal prep work on the large counter away from the outlets. I like it so much I bought the cordless hand mixer as well. I have both in the blue velvet color and like how the textured plastic feels and the fact that it resists those light scratches that my corded kitchenaid hand mixer is prone to.

My Wife Loves thus little thing. She was looking for a small chopper, I researched this one was very familiar with this Excellent Brand, so I ordered it, Absolutely does everything the description says, especially like the wrap around cord, easy to just leave on the counter top. Which is something she usually doesn't like to do. She has used several times since arrived, to be sure she was a bit skeptical at first. But after the first time she used it, to chop some pecans, she was hooked. Since she has used it to make Guacamole, Humice(?), (not sure how that's spelled ).Regardless My wife Love's her new toy. Before she was using another brand ,which was much bigger and too large to leave on the counter top. Yes , I made some good points, with this one. She's very pleased with it. One thing I would like to comment on the Lid, removal and replacement, it's very simple, just read the instructions carefully. Only a light pressure is needed to remove and replace it. Just slides from one side to the other. Hope this helps Someone on the Fence. Jump on in the chopping is fine..Ok one more thing, as for noise, it's average when it comes any chopping appliance. On the Puree setting it's a little louder, but you don't need any hearing protection..LOL THAT'S all Folks. Enjoy...

For years, I had a food processor that sat idle most of the time (primarily because it was a pain to clean) so I gave it away. However, I wound up deciding that something with similar functionality was needed but on a smaller scale. Of course it had to be super easy to clean, too. The Kitchen Aid Food Chopper fits the bill perfectly and I use it all the time. Great value for the money.

Tolles Gerät, aber unverständlich ein US Gerät nach EU zu verkaufen. In der Bedienungsanleitung findet sich keine deutsche Übersetzung. Das Produktfoto zeigt das Ladekabel geschickt von der Seite auf der der Stecker nicht zu erkennen ist. Ein kurzer technischer Hinweis auf einen Adapter oder eine Nutzbarkeit im deutschen Netz wäre wünschenswert.Sehr hilfreich wäre ein Tip welchen Adapter man gegebenenfalls mit bestellen sollte.
